First time in Zurich and I really struggled with picking a location 1st and hotel second and I can say I nailed it with both. Staff was friendly and generally concerned we enjoyed our stay. great boutique hotel and exactly what we were looking for as far as European feel. It's very close to everything we were interested in which was history, shopping and the Christmas markets which were one of the best we visited in our 7-day Viking cruise and 3 days in Zurich.

Nice hotel in the city center right by the lake, however with the extremely high price point I expected more from this hotel. Booked a lake view room and the view was nice, but rooms were small and not much was included with the stay, not even breakfast, so at almost $1000 a night i would not consider this hotel worth it and would not stay here again.
