For a four star hotel, we found that the service was poor, there were no toiletries in the bathroom apart from shower gel, the bed most very hard and uncomfortable, and the breakfast was standard, nothing special. As for positive things, we must say that we appreciated the spa and sauna area which was clean and very good.

Stayed here for a night on our way from Montreux to Zermatt. Didn’t expect much except for a brief soaking in a hot spring, but it turned out a really great experience. Therme 51 had its own spa and pool — a wonderful facility albeit somewhat small — so we didn’t have to walk out to bigger, more famous hot springs. Unless you want a big pool with a lot of people, Therme 51 would be a good place to stay.

Very nice, modern, clean hotel. Great breakfast (included). Little mountain resort town was full of great things to do. This was a short two night stay on our trip and I regret that we didn’t have more time to relax there.
