El Puerto Hotel

A fantastic room with HUGE space , lovely decoration in whole room , bathroom was soooo nice even without bathtub , cats are adorable , anyway i will come back again for sure!

Good location and very spacious room. The whole hotel seems under renovation/refurbishment.

This is a wonderful property. A bit far from the center but great for our purpose of cycling.

The room is spacious and has a great view of the ocean, and cleaned well. However our check-in experience was unpleasant, or I should rather say, non-existent. Despite I replied to the hotel’s email inquiry on our arrival time, we arrived late around 11pm, and found the hotel entrance locked and all lights shut. We stood in rain trying to figure out how to get in. Their phone number listed on Expedia doesn’t work. We finally got into the lobby by pressing a button labeled as “do not use,” and found another phone number listed for “after hour service” which no one picks up. We searched for a while but had no luck, and had to download a massaging app to try to get in touch with their receptionist. After a few calls with no response, they finally messaged back to say that they have hidden our room key in the front desk. The hotel could have helped us to save all the trouble by either letting us know they are not equipped to accommodate late check in, or by providing us with access information ahead of time. It’s unfortunately a very frustrating experience trying to search for clues in rain and darkness, and worries about if we have a space to stay for the night. We didn’t meet any of their staff / anyone else till we leave next morning. Please be aware of the late check in issue if you may arrive late - their Google review says they have 24 hour staff onsite but that’s not the case.

Excellent service from the staff. The room is big and hotel is close to the beach but unfortunately beach was closed. The location is remote so you need a car or moped.

雙人房有一房一廳還有半露天的陽台浴池，服務人員也很親切，房價也合理！真的是很棒的住宿選擇，下次如果有機會再到墾丁，還是會選擇入住泊途。

憑著九年前住過的美好經驗，期望本次也有美好回憶，但是，可惜的是，一入住看到斑駁，老舊的住宿外觀，沒有整理的環境，蕭條的整體環境。房間很大，但是仔細看就知道應該沒有在維護了。半夜上廁所發現一隻大蟑螂，時不時還有馬陸，馬陸是益蟲還可接受，蟑螂不能接受。

非常棒的一次住宿 還會再去。

A nice stay in the weekend, with a very big bathroom and bedroom.

Very nice, comfortable, clean hotel with a modern, boutique feel. i had the impression we'd get a good "ocean view", but it was obstructed. Friendly service, good amenities. Overall great experience.

Nice, eccentric "boutique" hotel off the beaten path of Kenting. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. But Wi-fi was not working and breakfast was marginal. Staff very friendly and welcoming, but little English spoken.

Great hotel, great staff. Shuttle service downtown was very nice as the amount of taxis in Kenting is relatively few.

We very much enjoyed our stay at El Puerto. I recommend it for people traveling with their own transportation, as the location is a little ways out of town. There are great views of the sea from just across the road, but unfortunately no beach within walking distance. The staff is polite and the room was great. There are a lot of great outdoor activities in the area. Breakfast was a rather unusual combination of foods, but adequate. Not a lot of vegetarian options. I would stay here again if I return to southern Taiwan.

We loved the size of the hotel rooms and 2 king size beds for the room type we booked. Location wise, it is right next to the Kenting main road and within walking distance to the most southern point of Taiwan. We enjoyed the stay here and appreciate the staff's welcome. Only improvement area will be breakfast offering is very limited, certainly not enough to accommodate needs of different family members.

South of Kenting but a great spot away from the Night Market craziness! The Mountain View room was very nice and the view was great. The staff was very nice and helpful. My Chinese is not very good but the staff's English was so our stay was wonderful.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Kenting and the night market, yet close enough for a short car drive into town. The staff at El Puerto were great. Unlimited rides into town for dinner. The rooms were big and super comfortable. Great deck from the 3rd floor mountain view, very serene. Selection of food was small, but Kenting is not far away. Breakfast buffet was ample with many options. We will definitely be back! Our go-to hotel in Kenting area.

We spent two nights here on our Taiwan travel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with two kingsized bed. So for a couple we had a lot of space since all El Puertos rooms can accommodate families of four. The hotel is located c.5km south of Kenting (the main city in the area). The location is more quite and laid back then the busy tourist streets of Kenting. The hotel offers free shuttle during the reception's open hours. The staff is friendly and will make an effort to help you with whatever. We appreciated the hotel and neighborhood to the extend that it was ok to miss out on the nightlife of Kenting.
