Our 7 nights at this hotel was great. The reception and service staff were excellent. So were the housekeeping staff. It is very centrally located (but off a busy street) and close to restaurants and all modes of transport - the Metro was just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the clean, spacious and quiet room, comfortable bed, welcoming and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, and convenient location close to the metro stop. We stayed at the Forward at the beginning of our trip and when we returned to Taipei at the end of our trip we cancelled our booking at a different hotel and returned to the Forward, which was far superior and less expensive.

Nice property with spacious rooms, staff was professional and helpful with limited english. Breakfast was not the best but the location is great so there are plently of dining options. Less than a 5 minute walk to the MRT.

Enjoyable stay. Location excellent. Room was spacious and clean. Only negative was the centrally controlled air-conditioning. Unfortunately a pretty big negative as the room was never at a comfortable temperature for us.

Good for a short stay - a bit small and room/hallway area had a smoking scent despite property being smoke-free. Breakfast was decent and staff were nice. Location was walkable to MTR and right by a grocery store as well!
