Everything is good except the location.

Perfect hotel in the middle of the city. Clean, comfortable, spacious, great city view & customer service. This was our 1st visit to Taiwan. It had everything we needed. If you are really tall, you might find the low ceilings in some areas of room hard to deal with. My son is 5'9" & he was ok. It may be just the corner room that we had.

Staff is friendly and the breakfast is free. (Not sure is it included in the room cost initially) Nearby area got lots of variety for food.

When checking-in front desk confirmed can check out in SGD, however, when checking out it was billed in TWD. Request front desk to bill in SGD as confirmed but he claimed it was not possible to amend.

The hotel was good. Location is excellent for MRT access. We stayed 2 nights but our room was not serviced at all during our stay. The reception is a bit cold. The beds are on the firm side but the comforter and pillows were nice. This hotel did not provide a bar of soap in our room for the bathroom sink area which was weird and disappointing. Included breakfast was okay. Room had a washlet.

Over all was good. The breakfast was a bit of lacking.

Will come back to this hotel again if I visit Taipei next year

Pros: Our stay was comfortable, the breakfast was good (I love congee!), and the sheets were always clean. Budget friendly. Nice free snacks and drinks in room and in lobby. Staff is so friendly and helpful! Cons: The hallway was a little dank and the walls of the room seemed in rough shape (maybe needs to be washed/wiped or wallpaper replaced). Something I didn’t realize when booking this hotel was that our bathroom shower had a low ceiling above it, it was difficult to stand up and the tub was quite short.. so if you were to take a step too far back, you’d step on the slope of the tub and slip. I was concerned my mom would slip and hit her head. Overall, I enjoyed our stay. It’s great if you are on a budget. I would come back again on my own (without an older parent because of the bathroom situation).

Check in is available for 24 hours a day and the location is excellent - with nearby malls and short walks to both Zhongxiao Fuxing and Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT stations.

Excellent Accomodation considering its only a 3star! Room was cleaned daily and Staff were very helpful.

The area is nearby to mrt and shopping centre. It is great area for visitor without transport. The hotel is good that have bath tub. However somehow the staff ask to be quiet in room during check-in,ABIT bad impression hotel room should be enjoyable that we have been warned even nothing wrong has been done..

Hej is a delightful 40 room hotel on a single floor in Taipei; central in its location (quick walk to Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT stop). It's unbelievable value for the price; clean rooms, free breakfast with multiple options like cereal, bread/cheese, congee with condiments, fruit, and free water bottles/milk tea drinks all day. Daily housekeeping was good too.
