Highness Hotel

台湾初入国でしたが、快速で空港から一駅で、駅からも徒歩10分程度と便利でした。 建物は古いですが、安かったので５つ星です。

No bones about it, this is an old property. But despite this, the room was comfortable, the shower refreshing, and the stay pleasant . It's further from the metro stops than I expected, but it's an easy walk.

An outdated hotel that would have seen its heyday decades ago. The facilities are worn down and the amenities are basic. This is the second time staying here. The only reason for me is that it is close to where my family lives. Otherwise, I would recommend staying at a nicer hotel if you’re able.

The service was excellent

Staffs are inefficient. Not follow the request of Wake-up call and taxi call.

The location is around shopping center and lots of restaurants. Local transportation is convinced to almost every where. Furthermore, the breakfast is tremendous lovely to who love local food. Recommended for both travelers and business man to stay.

A taxi from the airport was 740.00 NT or about $33.00 Canadian and it took 30-40 mins. The staff’s English was not very good but thank you for Google Translate. The staff and I communicated through technology and they were as helpful as they could be, they did try to help me. It is a two star hotel. I found the property run down. The safe’s batteries were dead. When I tried to use the safes in the lobby, every safe that was not locked had dead batteries. The contact points in the battery holders where corroded, leading to poor connections and early battery drain. This is primarily due to the high humidity. Staff sent a brand new working safe to my room. The sheer draped were in shreds. The room did not have any electrical outlets at the bedside, the lamps where hardwired in to the wall. I needed to use my CPAP battery at nights. The hotel has posted signs that they do not provide amenities like tooth brushes, tooth paste, razors, shaving cream or shampoo. Plan accordingly. They provide a buffet breakfast. It is a 12 min walk to the MTR station A9, Linkou, then 3 stops to TPE, Terminal 1 (A12). I spend 0.60 NT or about $0.24 Canadian on the fare and it took about 45-50 mins. Overall the place was clean enough and the bed was comfortable enough and I felt safe in the hotel. I do not think they have a lot of Western guests. Great shopping near the MTR station.

An older hotel, but had all the basics. A fine place to stay if you wish to be in Linkou, but there are more convenient places to stay closer to the metro. It is right across the street from a bus stop though.

Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Breakfast was great.

For the price and location, this hotel definitely met our expectations. We would definitely recommend it to our friends.

The hotel is considered to be quite old. The room (inner courtyard view) smells musty doom. The bathroom floor leaking water and becoming slippery.

Property should have had good feature but have too old finishing, even still using traditional key rather than digital. If someone have higher view to purchase this property, upgrade, and re marketing, should have better value.

The property looks about 1/10th as nice as the pictures. Also, they told me I could have a late checkout for NT$ 180 (about 6 U$D) at 3pm, but started calling me profusely at 12:30pm asking that I leave (and still charged me) - someone was waiting outside my room to tell me I owed money. Overall, a horrible experience and I won't be back. Also, for anyone who wants to enjoy Taipei, this is in Linkou, about 25 minutes (by subway) to where you want to be

All faculties are very polite, willing to help with a smile. Always help customers to make sure their stay comfortable. Breakfast is amazing.

Excellent breakfast buffet, multiple dining options nearby
