Hotel R14

Relatively new hotel in a good location close to mall, arena, and met station. Front desk staff all spoke English and were friendly. The parking in the garage was really convenient for our rental car.

Good stay over all, except the vegetarian breakfast and no bath tub.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was vegetarian, but very good with lots of options that also changed each day. Hotel was very convenient as it was only 1 min walk away from the station, as well as walking distance from the night market.

Walking distance to the Kaohsiung Arena.. very convenient for concert goers.... great location and very near metro station... easily assessible...

Property was a standard room quiet and well maintained but didn’t have a safe in the room. I’ve been to Thailand etc and all rooms had a safe . Other than that all good

Besides locating at the prime location in Kaohsiung (I am from Kaohsiung, so I can definitely say this out loud) right at the subway R-14 exit, it is also located next to the park (away from the busy street), there is another nice hotel right next, but R-14 Hotel is at a better site as it is in the inner part (on a smaller street). However, what makes this hotel stands out is its excellency of staffing. The owner of this hotel should give everyone a raise, seriously! They truely work as a team. They don't just treat guests as customers, they treat us like family. I had an unexpected nasty fall in this May raining season to the point to be taken to the hospital. When the hotel staff saw me and learned about it, they all went to get the ice for me and constantly asking about my recovery (they even made special ice packs!). From the Front Desk staff, to the dinning hall staff, to room service staff, their sweet tender loving characters definitely shine through, really made our 2 weeks stay truly one of the best travel experiences so far in life. Thank you R-14 Hotel staff, we will definitely come stay the next time we are in Kaohsiung! (I only got one question to the hotel owner, where did you find all your staff? Your manager and/or the hiring manager must have some kind of special power!! You don't just have employees, what you have is a TEAM). Well done!

The room and bathroom is big. The breakfast is good. Bottled water given. Ruifeng night market is just a walking distance. Subway is just opp the hotel. Very convenient.

Many food options near the hotel! Just that the breakfast is vegetarian breakfast with limited choice…

Worth to stay!

The vegetarian buffet breakfast is delicious that I kind of open my eye for the vegetarian foods . All fish are well prepared . Will come back again .

Near Taipei 101 and MRT stations.

This hotel has nice city view for their Luxury double room, there are lots of restaurants to choose from. Last but not least the hotel is close to the Kaoisuing arena subway station!

The room was spacious and clean. I appreciated that the floor was hardwood, and there was no carpeting.
