Rido Hotel

We had a great stay at the hotel!

Old style room setting. Room size is good for longer staying.

The hotel was in a beautiful neighborhood and convenient to various attractions. The bed was one of the best I've slept in during my trip. Pillows were also excellent.

I want heating during the winter. Bed seems old—it makes noises.

The hotel location is really conveniently located, close to Da'an Park MRT station. The staff was very helpful and proactive. I had informed them in advance that we'd be arriving earlier than the check-in time (3pm). When we arrived at the hotel, they had already arranged a room and let us check in earlier. The hotel also provided fruit and snack every day, and the room was cleaned every day. We had a comfortable stay.

Beautiful rooms, shower separate from tub. Fast elevators. Very good breakfast. 4 free laundry washers/driers with soap. Beside Daan park mrt station. Daan park with lots of shade and birds across street.

Great location. Easy access to Daan metro station and Yong Kang Street. Din Tai Fung just down the street. Just be cautious when using the shower in the bathroom. Allow all the water to fully drain from the shower area before opening the door or you will flood the entire bathroom floor creating a slip and fall hazard.

Great location and classic Art-Deco. Breakfast is OK, but limited options.

Staffs are very professional and helpful to assist me for handling some of my concerns. Hotel location is next Da A forest park and Dongmen shopping district. It’s a great plus.

Room has a wonderful view of Da’an park. It very nice, clean and spacious (we got one of the corner room with a Jacuzzi tub). Staff were polite and very responsive to our requests and concerns. Free diy laundry equipment. Room service also comes with a free fruit and snack plate which was unexpected but a nice touch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would choose this hotel again if we happen to be staying in the same area.

Excellent location to use MRT and bus. Da’an park across street is large shaded area with big pond and LOTS of birds. Great room with lots of wood and high ceiling. Even on 3rd floor could barely hear traffic. 7-11 and bank atm close. Shopping 1-2 blocks away. Breakfast good with noodles,rice etc as well as eggs sausage and toast buffet style.

Wonderful stay. For some reason, this property was rated a 3.5 star, but it's much better than that, I'd say 4-4.5. Spacious room, big bathroom, very clean, well appointed, quiet. Hidden gem, highly recommend.

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to public transportation system. The room is clean although a bit dated. The lobby area is small and staff is somewhat helpful. The hotel serve the purpose of transit type stay.

We stayed at the Rido Hotel at the start and end of our time in Taiwan and the hotel grew on us. The decor and furniture is somewhat dated but the rooms that we were in were spacious and comfortable. The foyer area between the room and bathroom meant that we had plenty of room of our baby's pram and lots of space in the room for both our suitcases to be laid out open the entire time which is a rarity. On top of that, the location was fantastic - within walking distance of a few MRT stations. We will definitely come back to stay here next time we're in Taipei.

Room is clean but air conditioning very loud.

This was our second stay at the Rido, which is located in perhaps the best neighborhood of all Taipei city, directly across from Da A Forest Park. We had a deluxe room with a view of the park, and it was wonderful to wake up to this sight daily. Proximity to the park also allowed for several leisurely walks and training runs. Nearby Dongmen neighborhood guaranteed a rich selection of restaurants and shopping. The hotel offers an ample breakfast featuring Chinese options (noodles, steamed buns, congee, braised pork over rice, and sautéed vegetables), along with Western fare including eggs, salad, bread for toasting, and cereal. This is served from 7:10 to 10am. The staff at the hotel are always very courteous and helpful, from the front desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning personnel. They are all so clearly eager to provide guests with all the help they need, and have great attitudes. Transportation options from the hotel are plentiful, adding convenience to the long list of reasons to stay there.

Courteous and professional staff, complimentary amenities (e.g., laundry detergent, washer and dryer, snacks), breakfast buffet, comfortable rooms, very close to public transportation, etc., made my stay very enjoyable. Thank you so much!
