Royal Hotel

Supplies are a bit old.

Very conveniently located close to the main station. Room is about right size. Comfy for a single person like me or a couple. The only thing is that the room has no window that I didn't pay attention when I booked.

The bed was very soft. While the room was a little small, it was still cozy. Everything was very clean.

The location is very convenient and close to variety of eateries and street food. The rate is acceptable. The facility is not up to good shape. Linens and towels are old and greyish. Once the bathroom is wet, you can see dust sticking to the ground and tub.

Easy access to shops and restaurants. Facility cleanliness and conditions are OK.

It was a generally comfortable stay in a very convenient location . We thought the price was rather high considering it was an old hotel with basic amenities and in need of general repairs . For example the bathroom cabinet was peeling away , the towels were gringy and there was a mouldy smell about the room. The decor was very dated as well. The best part was the location as it was minutes walk to Taipei Main Station as we needed to get to the airport the next day.

Very close to Taipei Main Station and a lot of restaurants. Many convenience store around the hotel. All staff are very helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel and staff is good. However the building is pretty old.

The Royal Hotel is a very satisfactory lodging in Taipei. The hotel is close to the Taipei train station. The surrounding area is right on the margin of a very busy retails area, Ximending, that has a very large variety of merchants. The people who run the hotel are kind, the premises are clean, and the rooms are up to date.

Hotel location is accessible to most of the tourist spots in taipei

Only for overnight stay hotel! Close to International airport MRT station but a little complicated way from the hotel to the entrance of the station.

The location is quite good, near the airport railway, walking distance to Taipei station

Check in time on Saturday and Sunday is after 5:00pm which is too late for customers as they rent to "short Rest" customers. The check in time of most hotels in Taiwan is 2:00pm-3:00pm 7 days a week, however, this hotel's "check in" and "check out" time is not flexible and not convenient for business man and family to stay..

The staff was fine, the room is relatively run down. middle of night can hear someone trying to open my room door knob. Air-conditioning need to improve. no warm water shower.

it was only for the night. room smells and very dusty. reserved a room with a city view. no city view. view of the emergency stairs. wifi was only available in the hallway, need to open the door to use it. large bathroom was the plus. people were friendly was another plus.

Best location, easy reach to shops, train station, airport coach, coffee shops, food court.

The stay is pleasant and the hotel staff are very friendly. Free breakfast is great with the local food.
