Convenient, basic. Small. No check in staff but good response to messages. Some rooms are noisy. Room 207 was good… but no window.

Check-in process was online and cumbersome - not crazy about that. The place did have a nice housekeeper, and they let me stay in the central living room to do work after I checked out. I do appreciate that.

I thought it was a hotel but its a self check apartment. I did self check in with instrcutions given to me. Good location , temp stay , bedroom size is small , bed frame is super single but my bed is queen. Sleep is off balance and toilet habe no bidget spray. Towels and toothbrush was provided , 2 bottle of water is provided

It was quiet. It just a walking distance to every stores. And it was a safe area.

Perfect little affordable place right by the night market. Would definitely come back!

No lobby staff and no staff ever seen to ask questions of. Only contact with the hotel was through whatsapp. Check-in was a tedious process through whatsapp which I would not have successfully completed without the help of someone I was traveling with. Had to request towels, drinking water and toilet paper through whatsap on a daily basis by 11 am.

Rooms were clean and well-stocked, but each one different, and some without windows. Beds were comfortable. Advance check-in instructions were not clear. Nobody is available for on-site check-in, Be sure you have WhatsApp or Line installed, or you will be dead in the water. All communication with management is through those apps. Once we got that cleared up, everything went smoothly. This is not your typical tourist hotel, and some rooms do not have elevator access, but it is clean, safe, and authentic. I would stay here again!

The rooms with windows were not true windows, just a tiny cell hole high up that faces the corridors. So the rooms will not get amy sunlight. The rooms have some kind of cigarette smell. If they can get rid of smell plus wallpaper the room, room will be much better. The only good thing is that rates are quite low.

Self service is one of the best ways for me.

Checking in was hard, there is no help desk. Room was dirty and tiny. The AC worked though.

Room is very small. Shower is over the toilet. Room isn’t cleaned daily. Cheap towels, and only 2 at a time. No place to put a suicase. TV didn’t work well. AC system was not easy to use. No front desk or on-site personnel. IT WAS ONE LEVEL ABOVE LIVING UNDER A BRIDGE.

Good location next to Shilin market and close to the metro. Good shower, Aircon, and an elevator. We were at the end of the corridor so it was quiet. Room is tiny which wasn't super clear in the pictures. Floor was absolutely filthy when we arrived, although when I notified reception they did send the cleaner to vacuum. It clearly never gets mopped. Bed is also small but relatively comfortable. Found the whole process for check in very tedius of messaging on line, having to download this app, recieving a code. A human interaction is sometimes better. Room was also not ready until 4pm, worldwide this is very late for a check in which is usually 2pm. They did allow us to leave bags in a communal area as no reception (which didn't feel safe at all). Overall for the price charged it felt expensive for the service received.

Great location for night market goer like me, cute neighborhood too, almost everything were done remotely hard to talk to a person when there's a problem

I wanted to like this place. I'd lived in Taiwan before so I knew what to expect from "apartment" style buildings. Location was great for my trip and wifi was blazing. Service people are helpful. Taxis probably wont want to pull up to the front of the building in that narrow street, so that's something to note. Make sure to have "Line" messaging app installed to contact the management and send a pic of your passport, to get the door panel code and check-in details for your room. Newly installed access panel for the building's front door had us locked out for 30min one day, so that could have been very bad for us had we missed a meeting. Asked to change sheets and towels one day, but only sheets were changed. There was a small window towards the hallway that make it harder to sleep as the room was never dark. Walls don't offer any soundproofing, and they ask to keep the noise down past 9pm. Overall, It's not terrible, but not great either. Good for utility, not for comfort.

No service at all.

The confirmation letter from Expedia was no help. It took me an hour sitting in the lobby to realize there was no one working the frontdesk in the lobby. I had to catch other guests going in and out the 'hotel' to help with contacting the manager. I must first install Line, an app I had never used before, Then another person helped me with how to contact the manager with Line. That took another half an hour before I was checked in. As a visitor, I had internet but no phone.

Nice stay, will do again

Basic accommodation for one-two nights stay. Good location, short walk to train station, bus station and night market. A lot of food options nearby. Not easy to find as the main entrance is just a regular house entrance. There is no proper signage so you just need to find the number 59 plate on the wall.
