Andamania Beach Resort

They are doing some remodeling and still have work to do, but great staff and excellent beach location.

We spent eight days here and enjoyed every minute. The staff are friendly and the hotel is quietly located right on a great Sandy beach, with a few family run restaurants close by. They offer a free shuttle bus to the town if you need variety.

I loved this hotel even more than all the luxury properties I've stayed at. Low key, on an almost empty beach, Khao Lak is suffering because of covid. The service was excellent. I believe I got a fantastic deal and ended up staying there for two weeks instead of the planned two days. It's the sort of place where everyone is extremely kind and smiling. They are traditional about the way they upkeep the property. I didn't see one vacuum cleaner the whole time I was there. They swept the floors. Somehow it was one of the cleanest properties I have ever seen in my life. Food is not fantastic for the price but there is a local restaurant called Be Friend right next to the property on the beach which is EXCELLENT, and relatively cheap. Breakfast was average. It is an unbelievable deal for the area. I couldn't believe it. This is what I was hoping to find in Thailand. Many thanks to the staff.

Great place to relax. Family orientated but not with a lot of children screaming around. Very quiet at night. Safe and good general condition. The wooden floor are quite nice giving some authenticity to the resort.

The wooden floors and spaciousness as well as staff diligence about cleanliness.

The location right on the beach is great. Didn't like the fact that smoking is permitted all over the hotel including in the bedrooms, for a monsmoker it is very unpleasant.

Amazing, incredibly nice staff. Andamania has a very clear style: situated between the luxurious 300-Euro-per-night-hotels, Andamania Hotel is the nice middle-class hotel in between, with the most likeable, friendly, personal staff, a splendid garden and a beautiful beach and tasty restaurant. If you want fancy huge pool-landscapes, go to the huge hotels left and right, if you want perfect relaxation with friendly staff and a really nice garden and great beach, go to Andamania hotel!

Great small hotel on the beach with very attractive grounds. There was a good selection of foot-in-the-sand restaurants adjacent which we thought provided better food than the hotel restaurant. Lovely pool and good choice of food at breakfast. Some of the fittings eg. bathroom were a little dated. Fabulous beach and wonderful sunsets.

Loved the staff who were so happy to help, even though they all don't speak a lot of english.They are family oriented and love children and make a fuss over them.Hotel is set within borders of coconut palms and jungle. The Hotel rooms and bungalows are set in beautiful and well maintained natural gardens.Koy ponds are nestled besides an undulating path that leads to the restaurant and beach. There is a sparkling clear pool.Breakfast was fabulous too.With bacon, eggs and anytype of omelet you wished for they could wipe it up in minutes.Plenty of juices, A few traditional dishes and fresh fruit and youghurt,as well as those wanting a salad they even had this.At dinner you are digging your toes into sand at the beach restaurant or bar .Red beach umbrellas shade lounges set up for the guests near the beach. It seems that theres obviously been a lot of care gone into making the guest stay so comfortable by the lovely owners at this Andamania.Hotel.I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the rest of the world and do nothing but relax and recharge, its worth the travelling time away from Phuket.

Though the hotel is rather remote from the rest of the world, it is a perfect place to 'chill out'. The beaches are magnificent for the long walks we need, and the swimming was wonderful - until the arrival (just before we left) of the jelly-fish. However - as we discovered - the hotel swimming pool is an excellent substitute for the sea, when one is needed. From time to time we needed a little variation, and it was good to find an excellent restaurant ('Pinky's') just a few yards along the beach - and the Marriott Hotel, just a bit further away, provided us with the real coffee we needed. I should add that the Andamania was itself a very appealing place to be, set as it is in a beautiful garden. We have rarely eaten breakfast in a more perfect setting. Though inevitably there were some language difficulties, we found the staff at the hotel obliging, friendly and accommodating. We would certainly like to go back there some time soon!

This is a really lovely place - beautiful grounds, pool and perfect beach front location. It’s not super luxury but very very good for the price. Breakfast good choices and they continually top it up. All food covered. Staff are extremely sweet, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Khao Lak is really spaced out so give transport some thought - you need to get taxis or have a vehicle of some kind from here. There are several restaurants walking distance from resort by turning left or right along the beach, but I do mean only a few - you’re not a main built up area here. But as long as you’re okay with that, it’s beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and just generally great. Thanks for having us!

We really enjoyed our two week stay at the Andamania resort, it is in a quiet location but close to Ban Niang market and Khao Lak township. Staff very friendly , room was comfortable and clean. Bar and restaurant on site and also other beach restaurants in walking distance so you can enjoy a variety. Breakfast facilities with view to the beach and all the food you need and an egg station. Bicycle and scooter hire on site also. Will definitely chose this resort again and happy to recommend.

Just wonderful! We love this place with it's friendly staff and it's wonderful setting.

Ich mag die Lage des Hotels. Ruhig gelegen, abseits vom Zentrum und Orten, an denen es riesige Hotels gibt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass es sich um ein mittelgroßes Hotel handelt. der Strand, die Umgebung, alles macht mich glücklich, hierher zurückzukehren. jemand, der einen Ort abseits des Zentrums sucht, wird zufrieden sein.

Wir waren zum 6.mal hier und was soll ich sagen, wieder wunderbar, toller Strand, keine Animation, volle Entspannung und wenn man es etwas Trubel haben möchte, fährt man mit dem Roller zum Treiben

Wunderschönes Hotel direkt am fast einsamen Strand. Das einzige was nervt, sind die Touristen, die bereits morgens um 6 die strandliegen reservieren, aber dafür kann das Hotel ja nix. Personal, Zimmer, Sauberkeit und Beachbar sind fantastisch……jederzeit wieder.
