Amazing hotel, great staff
The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing. They were always there if we needed any help or had any questions and went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our trip. When we were checking out they even provided us all with packed lunches for our plane journey! The hotel was gorgeous and really nicely decorated. Very boutique style with large rooms and a homely feel. Would definitely stay here again. The location of the hotel was slightly out of town and about a 40 minute walk to the main Chiang Mai night bazaar (only 10 minutes in a taxi). However, the walk was quite nice along the river and gave us a chance to explore Chiang Mai so this didn't really matter at all.

Home from Home, Lovely Staff, Fantastic Area, Great wifi, Awesome Decor.
We were supposed to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 6. We are digital nomads and downstairs was the perfect place to work, lovely decor, great wifi and we even got brought cups of tea and watermelon to keep us going! The room was large with a great balcony and also had perfect wifi. Family run place and in the morning they cook you breakfast. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great for the price. Across the road is the big park which is thriving with activity. The beautiful, ancient city walls are also across the road and you can walk into the old town and Sunday market easily (or it's a very cheap tuk tuk). You are spoilt for choice with restaurants, 2 great places next door - one does amazing soup- try it! We also went to a couple of great restaurants nearby that serve everrything from Thai to Gluten free and vegan food and a lovely Italian. This is now our home from home in Chiang Mai.

Please and ease
It is close t the center but it is not that close to the busy area. Just get a red taxi and have a ride for 50thb to the market area. The surroundings of the hotel are chilled. It lies on the edge of the old town of Chiang Mai. Many good (not shady) massage places are hidden there and are ready to be discovered by you. The hotel does not have a pool area. The breakfast is ok, but they are trying! The have a really fast laundry service, 5thb per piece. The rooms are a bit dark, also the lamps are a bit misplaced, especially in the bathroom. There are no lamps close to the mirror. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A sweet, homely stay in a well kept hotel.
This classy, boutique style hotel was perfect for our stay. We spent 4 nights and found it well situated, especially for Saturday Night Market. The hotel let us check in very early because our train arrived at 7:30am. Much appreciated. Upon arrival at 8:30am we were brought to our room on the 4th floor (401). Loved the complimentary snacks, water and mini fridge extras. Although off a main road, the noise wasn't bad. We enjoyed drinking wine on our balcony under the night sky. Room was modern, clean and tasteful in design. We enjoyed the USB plug in so we could watch movies we brought. Staff were kind, attentive and acted immediatly on all our requests. Breakfast was included but options were slim for vegans. We got a small bowl of salad and a banana each. Could be MUCH better. Every morning we went and had a "second" breakfast because ours was slim. Also, they should make great coffee because the insta stuff just doesn't suit the hotels classy nature. An espresso machine would have made up for a weak breakfast. Rented a scooter through the hotel which was great and arrived minutes after making the request. Overall, a nice stay. Worth the money.

Not for business trips!
I picked a deluxe room at this hotel for four nights mostly because the rest of Chiang Mai was booked. Check in was all right, but apart from paying for the room I had to pay a refundable deposit of 500 baht. On my booking confirmation this deposit wasn't mentioned, so it was certainly unexpected. It's a small place, possibly converted into a hotel from a house. It is clean, undoubtedly, with a good bathroom. The bedroom and the bathroom were dark, however! If you're shaving in the bathroom, you've got to be careful. The low light was particularly frustrating as I had work to do, including writing. Eventually I started looking for cafes where I could do my work. So much for the room. The bed was right next to the door, and that wasn't the most comfortable either, particularly since I could hear things from outside. The walls themselves were so thin! Now, one of the biggest drawbacks of the hotel was the breakfast policy. We were not told anything about the breakfast, and the staff at the reception seemed so confused. It was strange. There are no restaurants nearby for breakfast so if you do happen to stay here, get some bread for yourself. Another frustrating matter was that the room had a kettle, but no tea or coffee! When I asked about that at the reception, I was told that they don't give tea or coffee. You might want to get your own from 7eleven. Although the room was clean, I must mention the one occasion where the floor mat ended up on a chair when we returned to the room at night! In the four days I just saw three men in total at the reception. Didn't see the rest of the staff. Of the three, two were nice. One was very helpful. Would I return? That really depends on whether service improves at this 'hotel'. There's a long way to go.
