Lovely lovely
Stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The owners were more than happy to help and even took us places for free in their lovely red pick up truck! I cut my toe quite badly one night and goth did a great job of bandaging it up then following up doing so on the next day! Three bathrooms made it easy to shower with not a long wait at all. Good value for money with room for all bags in the dorms and little safes outside too! In good location for jungle and full moon party with regular taxis going past. Yummy cheap places to eat around too :)

Seriously Don't Stay Anywhere Else!
The guys that run this hostel go above and beyond for their guests. On the first night we got taken to a sunset viewpoint and the food market (for free!). On the second day we got taken on a hike to an amazing viewpoint, got ice cream and visited one of the largest trees on the island. Gof also helped us plan our day trip to Ang Thong National Park (ask for Snake who runs one of the boat tours). The rooms were clean (6 mixed dorm) as were the bathrooms (with hot water). There are also lockers for valuables. Gof really wants to show visitors the beauty of the island, and there's so much more to Koh Pha Ngan than just the full moon party. Hostel managers like this deserve to do well, so come stay here!

Best hostel ever
Everyone that works here is an absolute beauty. Best hostel in Thailand we've visited so far. Movies for hangover, internet is decent, and great for pre drinking at! Most relaxed atmosphere ever!! Every night the owners will accompany you around to different sunset spots and restaurants. Above and beyond.

Don't Stay Anywhere Else!!
Seriously, Don't. I arrived at Baan Kai for the full moon party this month and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Not just the full moon but the entire experience from start to finish. We got here a lot earlier than we were meant to because of the boat times and it didn't matter, we still got checked in at around 11am. We were shown around the hostel and greeted by the staff and all of the guests. Made some great friendships that night from pre drinking outside the hostel to the entire night where everybody looked out for each other. The morning day after was a bit of a slow one, as you can imagine when you get in at 8am, but that didn't matter because the hostel has a chill out lounging area with a wide range of dvd's/games for entertainment. But my biggest bit of advice would be to stay for the next day. Gof (the owner) is a lovely man and really appreciates the beauty of the Island he lives and works on. I was told by a lot of people that Koh Phangan was just a party island and that after full moon there was nothing else to do. They were all wrong. Gof took all the people still in the Hostel out for a day trip around the Island. We went to a lovely secluded beach (Bottle Beach) and hiked up to an amazing viewpoint. Then we chilled on the beach for a while and got some food. After that Gof took us to a viewpoint to watch the sunset and we came back to the hostel to have a BBQ. He really knows Koh Phangan and its beauty. All in all it truly is a great hostel, ran by wonderful people, on an amazing island.

Great Hostel
Had a great time here with a couple of mates at the beginning of our 5 week trip to SE Asia. Gof helped organise our half moon tickets, even giving us a lift to the ticket office to get the early bird tickets. The hostel was clean, welcoming and well worth what we paid. Would stay here again!
