Chai Chet Resort

Nice location and scenery on a good beach with clean water, however no towels at the beach only located at the reception, no room cleaning unless you leave your only key to reception, limited service at hotel as reception closes at 10pm, you would be in trouble if locked key in room as no one in hotel would be able to help. Breakfast is very limited with basic items not available on most days, like slice bread or even tea bags, Staff at breakfast had an unhelpful attitude if you ask for any basic breakfast food like boiled eggs or wholemeal bread, the answer was always not available!!! All breakfast food were always sickening cold. Hotel is very basic 3 stars or less

The resort grounds including the beach are stunning! Staff is very friendly and breakfast buffet was good. Room itself was fairly outdated especially the bathroom. Mattresses were extremly hard.

Fantastic hotel, restaurant staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, especially Lin and her team. This is our fourth time here and we will be back next year for another 2 weeks chilling out.

Beautiful resort right by the beach. All staff are wonderful. The restaurant in this resort has good food and drinks. I love the swim-up bar with the beautiful view to the ocean. Their breakfast buffeet was great. I love how they changes their breakfast food eveey day so you dont eat the same thing all the time. All food was delicious!! Will definitely recommend this resort to family and friends.

One of the best places we stayed in Thailand. Tranquil but close to everything. Beautiful and well-maintained property! Wonderful pool and fantastic beach to soak-in the sunset. The typical Thai breakfast and the restaurant are excellent ! And then there is the well-trained staff that is exceptionally attentive, kind & friendly. Good Wifi everywhere ! Worth every Baht ! Thank You Lin, we will be back !

The hotel itself is nice. Value for money. The bed is very hard and the breakfast is terrible. Not the best location either.

The overall property as well as it's proximity to the beach was wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful as well. What I didn't like was the room. I understand that they have many different options available and mine might of been at the lower end of the spectrum. However, the online pictures did not depict how old and antiquated the room/furniture was. Additionally, the "hot water" was lukewarm at best and there was a steady stream of ants marching through the room.

Overall good staff, great beer, food and massage prices. Beds were too firm and the beach area has a lot of shells from the trade winds blowing. If not careful your children will cut their feet. The beach in front of Koh Chang Paradise Resort is better.

Grand villas are still new and clean. Great bathroom, outside area meters from sea, mostly peace and quiet, extensive breakfast buffet (emphasis on Asian food), beautiful and well kept grounds. Restaurant in evening is a bit of a let down if you like Thai food though - they do bland 'tourist' versions even if you ask for spicy.

This is the second time we have stayed at Chai Chet and we had a wonderful stay in a beautiful bay. Just perfect in every way ...will certainly stay there again. Wonderful staff and perfect postition for a beach holiday..totally relaxing.

I found the hotel to be very good. The breakfast was inclusive and very good for Thai style breakfast. The staff were courteous and polite. The only downside was to get a sunbed, you have to place your towel first thing to effectively book the sunbed for the day. Could do with some more rubbish bins at the beach area.

Lovely rooms and amazing value. Beautiful pool and right on the beach. Staff very attentive - although the reception staff could be a bit short at times. Breakfast needed improvement - the egg situation confuses me - they have a lady cooking them but she cooks way too many and leaves them out and they get cold, would be better to cook them on demand when customers wanted them!

Good beach side location although the sun sets earlier here than the rest of the beach the resort is on due to a hill. Rooms could do with a telephone to contact reception if required. The pool water could ideally be a bit cleaner - there is a noticeable oil film. Perhaps requesting that quests showered before entering would help. Guests were from a spread of northern European nations.

Hotel has great green are and semi-private beach. But ocean view room is pretty basic and bed is very hard. Breakfast wasn't good too.

prime location great pool and view right on the beach ,my only criticism was a bit of a mildew smell and me and the neighbors had very squeaky load taps they need a plumber to sort the noise out

Our stay on Koh Chang and at Chai Chet was wonderful and relaxing. Our room had a good bed, great air con, and the proximity to the great beach was perfect. We lounged by the great pool, enjoyed the restaurant and the lovely staff who helped us learn Thai and Cambodian. Chamroen and his wife, Lek, were particularly sweet and we left with new friends. I read reviews complaining about the breakfast, which surprises me. Our group of six all enjoyed our breakfast each morning. This place is an excellent value for the money and we were all very pleased.
