Chaweng Garden Beach Resort Samui

Stay away from this hotel. Staff at the reception are rude and unprofessional, and operate this facility like a scam. They will charge you even for a dirty towel, as if the towel is provided to be kept clean. When I asked to talk to a manager, they reverted me to the reception. Zero accountability.

There are 2 reasons for my three stars to this property. One, the water temperature in the shower was terrible. Although there was a heater, the water was either too cold or way too hot. Even with the slightest adjustment the water would go to an extreme temperature. I think they have a central heating system as well which wouldn't work late nights which means a cold shower before sleeping. When we complained they sent an engineer to fix it. He changed something but it didn't work and he realized that too. But the manager who came along said its ok now and asked me to check. I told him its still not ok and they didn't do anything else and dashed out of the room. This was poor service. A good shower is an important part of the room and this was disappointing. Two, we had requested for veg options for breakfast well in advance but there were not enough options. Even on requesting for the following day, no efforts were taken. On the positive side, the reception staff was very quick and helpful for our requests. This place has a lot of trees and hence a lot of mosquitoes but they use a spray which is effective. Our room overall was quite dated and not worth the money we paid. Location is spot on if you like a lot of hustle-bustle at walking distance. Air planes start landing around 7.30/8am and that is sure to wake you up as they fly right over the hotel. Wouldn't recommend or return to this hotel for a stay in beautiful Koh Samui !

Right in the centre of town, restaurants, shops, bars. Enter the resort and you’re immediately a million miles away in sand, garden, peace and quiet. Pool right on the beach front, deck chairs on the beach sand. Some light music noise from next doors beach club however slept with a smile every night. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful and pleasant hotel

The resort is very nice and perfectly located. I wish the reception staff was more friendly and welcoming. Found them quite rude.

Great Location!

My children felt at home & enjoyed their stay that they want to go back again. Staff are helpful & hospitable, breakfast is good & environment is peaceful & relaxing. They serve excellent pizzas. We will be staying at Chaweng Garden again before departing from Koh Samui.

We loved staying here. Ignore the street entrance, it doesn't do the Hotel justice. The Hotel is situated right on the best beach in Koh Samui. We would recommend to singles and families alike. Rest or party both are here in spades.

The staff were exceptional, always willing to help with a lovely smile. The hotel was right on the beach, where the water was warm and the bay so beautiful . The hotel was carrying out external maintenance, which was not disruptive and needed. The rooms were clean but in need of a bit of a paint touch up as they are looking tired. Shower was not warm but the weather certainly was, so although frustrating nothing to harsh to handle. Would I recommend the hotel definitely, lovely and quiet but also close enough to restaurants, pubs and clubs for the youngsters.

Great location. Best part of chewang beach.perfect time of year as we could always get beach chairs and the breakfast buffet wasnt crowded. Lazy river pool and bar was a great break from the beach. Prices were similar to town prices and the ice cream parlor was a nice feature.

The staff are all so lovely, polite and friendly. The rooms are always kept clean, housekeeping comes daily. The beach out front the resort has a little reef that’s has some beautiful fish, even the fish are friendly. The breakfast offers a variety of options to select from including making eyes your own way. The location is deal, making walking to strip easy and walking distance from central shopping centre. I would say here again. The plains are loud when they fly overhead but they stop at night, and you get use to them. I highly recommend you enjoy a pool side massage, they are so good!!! I would stay here again.

This property is fantastic on all levels!! Beautiful property, best location, perfect spot on the beach, room cleaned everyday, breakfast buffet has many choices, bar staff is excellent at beach and pool bar. We would definitely stay here again. And a big shout out to our bartender, Poe Chi, we will miss you!

All around wonderful experience. Right on the beach, convenient to restaurants and shops. Excellent breakfast buffet. Comfortable bedding. Strong Wi-Fi.

The breakfast menu was one of the best we’ve been to, lots of food ready and lots of staff. Tip - best to get there by 0800 if you arrive after 9 am we found it too busy and lots of food ran out. The pool is devine and at a nice depth of 1.4mtrs and the beach is right there. Te best part was massages on site, and a really good price. We never used the second lagoon pool, even though it had a swimbar. Our rooms were clean and large, oirs had both a bath and shower.

Very friendly staff, the pools are incredible. Really delicious food. Amazing location, close to the airport and many of the main tourist attractions.
