This small boutique hotel was amazing for the price. The room was small but had what we needed for our one night stay. A bit noisy from the dogs outside so I would suggest earplugs and you will sleep fine as my husband and I did. No kettle in the room for coffee, this would be a nice addition. We just walked 5 minutes and we were on the main strip filled with restaurants. It is close to the train station but a good 30 minute taxi ride if you are taking a ferry.

Chumpon is a big place but everything is very local and basic. So don't expect anything at all different from your hotel stay! Positives about Euro Boutique hotel: easy parking, clean room, comfortable mattress and bedding, dark when lights out, hot shower, small balcony, large fridge freezer in room Negatives: noisy - can hear every little thing that every other guest is doing, can hear dogs barking at night from next door, flimsy entrance door

Nice spacious and bright rooms with balconies, hot water, and good linens. Free coffee (including french press) and tea available in lobby, and free bikes provided as well. Location is perfect - right downtown, a short walk to train station & to night market (a must for foodies!) We booked one night initially, but stayed two.
