Great location and good room
I was glad to have stayed here but it had its pros and cons : .Comfortable dorm bed and room, own ensuite which was very handy. .nice toiletries provided: essential oil body wash and shampoo, good towel .You get to control your own aircon which is much appreciated .Amazing location right on Thalang road (great street market on Sunday, amazing local restaurants at every price range) in the very centre of pretty old town and opposite Soi Romanee Cons : .no kitchenette facilities at all .no area to hang out other than a sparse bench to smoke indoors .no windows from inside (other than certain rooms) at all .strange feeling of a deserted building .shower pressure is really low .Staff are polite but distant; Basically this is a good bed for you to stop in and base yourself from while you're in amazing Old Town, so in all I was glad to be here

Central location
Cheap enough accommodation in phuket old town. We spent two nights there. It took a while for the AC to kick in but it did work. Make sure you get a room at the front as ours had no window. Staff were friendly. Beds were pretty rock solid. Didnt bother us but it was pretty firm. There was a safe in our room but requires a padlock which seems common in this part of Thailand. So maybe puck one up for your travels. There is a cheaper but tasty restaurant directly opposite.

Hard to measure value when you have luxury suite in hostel
Ok the entrance is unique. You have to check in at a desk at the end of a Chinese trinket store. Then you have got to walk up narrow steep stairs for 2 flights.. But then at the top at the end of a long hallway isRoom 7 a large room with balcony opens up and you are in backpackers heaven.

Good value for money
We stayed in a private triple room for a weekend in June 2016. The hostel is above a shop in a central location, close to shops, cafes, and bars, and within walking distance to/from the bus station. The owners and staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There is no breakfast provided and there are no kitchen facilities. (Guests can each take a bottle of water from the fridge a day.) The room was clean, smart, and spacious, with wifi, aircon, and hot shower. Downsides included numerous steep, narrow steps up to the room (but we were on the top floor and enjoyed the view) and extremely hard beds (although we all slept well). As is quite common, the key must be in the holder in the room for the electricity to work which was a little annoying as it meant we couldn't leave our phones on charge while we were out and couldn't leave the aircon on to keep the room cool but it wasn't a big deal. More of an issue was that 2 out of 3 of us couldn't fit our adapters into the plug sockets! Not sure why this was, perhaps a little more force was needed but we were reluctant to risk breaking our adapters. There was a safe in the room but we struggled with locking it and also felt that it could be easily removed from the room. These were only minor inconveniences and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Nice value for your money
We stayed 3 nights in a private room. About 600 baht per night. Clean and spacey rooms with AC, TV, safety box, hot water showers and a very clean bathroom. They cleaned the room every day and gave us new clean towels. The hostel is in Phuket Old Town close to many nice cafés and close to busstation no 1 and also close to local busses to the beach (cost 35 baht) Nice staff. Very helpful. You can also do laundry here. They gave us two waters every day for free (from the fridge at the reception) if you want more a bottled water only cost 10 baht here.
