Excellent location. Easy short walk to shopping centre , night life, beach. No taxi required at all for our stay in patong. Daily shuttle bus to shopping centre at 12:15pm which was convenient if you don’t want to walk. Staff all were lovely. The restaurant across the road was delicious and affordable . Are there many times. Buffet breakfast also great.

This is my second stay . Location is great one block back from the beach The hotel breakfast area and swim up bar are very good. The breakfasts have a huge selection. Rooms very clean and tidy . For older it may be better to ask for step in shower as I’m not a fan of step in bath and high sides But it’s certainly a good stay and value for money

We arrived on 12 June and I booked a deluxe twin bed room. When I arrived at the room there was a musty and humid smell to it and I didn’t want to stay in it. Teya was very gracious kind and helpful and she switched our room directly to another one which we were very happy with. The breakfast buffet is very generous and extremely varied in choice. It contained all kinds of fruits and teas and juices as well as an Asian station with a delicious soup as well as numerous kinds of Indian and Thai dishes.

5 star hotel for staff friendliness. They all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. From reception through to breakfast staff, amazing service. Can't speak highly enough about them. Breakfast is also 5 star. Absolutely amazing variety. Freshly squeezed juice everyday was a winner for us. Pool is ok. They have 3 pools running alongside each other, but not joined. They are not very big either, a little bit narrow but long. Rooms are a little bit dated. Clean enough but older. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The staff kindly upgraded and changed my room, which I appreciated, as the original room was not in acceptable condition. The hotel itself is quite old and is in desperate need of repairs and general maintenance. My new room was better than the dirty room I was first given, but it still had lifting floorboards, which showed the wear and tear throughout the property. The hotel has a good location and plenty of potential, but it really needs a lot of attention and care. The steam room was not working during my stay, and the breakfast buffet should be covered to stop flies landing on the food. There was a good variety of breakfast options, but the hygiene issue was disappointing. That said, the staff were friendly and did their best under the circumstances. They clearly work hard to manage the condition of the hotel, but the building itself needs significant investment and repair.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Mercury Phuket, Patong. The hotel has a very convenient location - it is within walking distance to both the mall and the beach, which made everything easy. When we arrived, we even received a yummy complimentary cake for our anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. The pool was nice and there were always chairs available, so it was easy to relax between outings. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of options, and the overall service was great. The staff were always polite and helpful throughout our stay. We will highly recommend Grand Mercury Phuket to anyone visiting Patong!

Definitely not a 5-star experience - we were initially assigned a room with a strong smell of mould; though we did manage to change rooms. The rooms themselves were very much unpolished, there was a deep hole in the sofa, and the sofa itself was stained. The bathroom was unfinished, with sealant being poorly applied throughout the bathtub. We also used the gym, which was subpar by even 4 star standards! The breakfast was good, and the pool was also good.

The hotel site is close to all the main attractions, nightlife, restaurants, Jungceylon Mall, Central Mall, and Patong Beach. Approximately a 5 - 12-minute walk. The room is very clean. Balconies are not accessible. Great buffet breakfast selection, especially with the halal options, which is a smart way to attract Muslim tourists. Good job to the F&B team!
