ibis Styles Krabi Ao Nang

The room we stayed in was 501, corner unit in the top floor. It was in very deplorable conditions, grime in the shower and every door had paint peeling. Marks on walls, the tv only had 7 channels. The air condition was not operating but fixed after a service call. It was a kid room with a bunk bed which the kids loved but may also explain why this unit was in such deplorable conditions. The staff was nice, and made the room daily, water is provided daily. The AC, although fixed was never as cold as other hotels we stayed at. We met another couple on some tours, and they asked if our hotel room was in such poor state as ours, they didn’t have children, so I suspect most of the hotel needs a heavy cleaning and renovation. The pool had a lot of moss/mold on the floor tiles. Towels were always available, the shuttle to the ao nang beach was on time but it’s a pickup truck style, where you sit on a bench in the bed. The ao nang area is very lively, so it’s decently located for walking to restaurants, bars, salons. The night market is about a 25 min walk or 10 from the shuttle drop off. But the last shuttle is 6pm. Breakfast buffet was included and very good, opened late until 1030. Overall, the views of the cliffs was the best feature, we would not stay again nor would we recommend it to friends.

Great location with some nice family friendly rooms and an excellent pool area. We had a balcony looking onto the pool and cliffs and it was a great spot. Rooms were worn and cleaning was… spotty- but the location and pool made up for it. The shuttle to the beach was useful. I would not bother with the breakfast which looked so-so for the price compared to other options within a few minutes walk.

The place is an ageing, dirty dump. Everything feels old and well used....the check is procedure is confused, the swimming pool furniture is circa 1990 and the rooms are small with inadequate furniture (not even a table to put your laptop on). Go elsewhere.

Poor value for money overall. The property is in poor condition and clearly in need of better maintenance. The rooms are very small, with paper-thin walls and interior connecting doors, so you can hear everything happening in the neighboring room. Breakfast is low quality, with the same limited options every day. On the positive side, the location is decent—about a 10–15 minute walk to the beach—and the staff are friendly and welcoming, as is generally the case in Thailand.

Everything was wrong.This hotel is terrible, it's disgusting, not maintained and unkept. Mould in bsthroom, dead bugs on walls, disgusting stench.

We stayed here for one night. This is a very basic hotel with small clean rooms. The location is very good for the nightlife outside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and courteous. This is a budget hotel and you can expect a budget hotel. All in all a good stay for the budget concious.

Very comfortable bed. Walking distance from all the night life. Nice message at the poolside. Clean room and smells clean. We enjoyed staying there.

This hotel was dog friendly which is really hard to find in Thailand

It’s located in a good central area for Ao Nang beach and buffet breakfast was good. Unfortunately our room’s ceiling looked like it had some mould and our room also wasn’t cleaned properly before our check in (had a half drunken hotel bottle of water on the bedside with no new water in fridge, had to ask reception for towels etc). Laundry was also going to cost over 1000 baht - used clean & glow laundry just down the road which was 200 baht and a good, quick service.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a good middle of the road hotel. The hotel aesthetics were what you expect from a chain hotel so if you are looking for something a bit more traditional or to feel like you’re not in a standard city break hotel then this isn’t the place for you. The pool area is nice with a free towel each day. The breakfast is good and the area is clean. The beach is around a 15 minute walk and you are on the Main Street in Ao Nang when you leave the hotel. The landmark night market is an 8 minute car journey away. Overall this stay provided us with what we needed for 3 nights in a busy area.

Pet friendly hotel and the wife and I come almost bi weekly. Accidentally booked the incorrect date and arrived at the hotel. Expedia staff and hotel staff were amazing . Fully refunded and booking was the same price . Top service from both Expedia and Hotel.

A decent walk to beach and night market, but hotel is great.

The staff was amazing. Also had the best price, make sure to get the breakfast included, if you’re planning on doing activities. The had happy hour and a nice pool. Overall, really enjoyed staying here and will stay here in the future.

The buffet breakfast has a great selection however it was cold every morning.

This place is old and is in need of a renovation. We found many cockroaches on premises running through the corridors. Very unclean and unhygienic. Location is good 5 mins to the beach. The breakfast is terrible , limited options and also just unhygienic. Would I stay here again. Absolutely not. You’ve be warned!
