We've stayed at Long Beach before. We like the setting on the quiet, north end of Cha-am Beach. The staff are pleasant and professional without being too obtrusive. Rooms are a nice size and ours was clean. Adequate amenities. Beds are comfortable. Wifi worked well. Only issues were that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and they don't have electric outlets to speak of. There's a 2-prong near the vanity desk and another in the bathroom. The only 3-prong with ground is the outlet that the TV & refrigerator are plugged into. We've stayed before, so packed our own extension strip. Breakfast is great for a buffet. Lots of Thai choices. Adequate Western choices, including a nice variety of breads and ample bacon. They have 2 swimming pools. One is a standard pool of a very good size. The other is a smaller pool that is great for kids. It is equipped with a slide and other play objects, plus has a fair sized kiddie pool area. All told, an easy and pleasant place to stay.
