Mountain Resort

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and our view overlooking the beach was amazing. The room was very large, clean but dated which didn’t bother us as the view made up for that. The pool area was clean. There were lots of choices at breakfast and lunch on the beach was delicious. Drinks menu was good too. After booking the hotel I realised there wasn’t a pool bar, but to be honest this didn’t make a difference as we were always on the beach. The restaurant closed very early but once again we went out to explore in the evening and ate out. The only criticism I have which made no difference to us was that if you had difficulty with mobility this wouldn’t be the hotel for you.

The room was great, very spacious and well appointed.The shower was fabulous, super powerful. The only downside was the toilet room didn't have a sink in it which meant we had to exit the toilet room then walk around the bed to get to the bathroom in order to wash our hands, that was quite annoying.The swimming pool was beautiful however the sun loungers were incredibly uncomfortable, they need soft cushions, also the sun loungers are really really heavy making it difficult to manoeuvre them out of the sun. The hotel does have a shuttle bus but when we wanted it to take us to the ferry port it wasn't available.The hotel is situated on hill with a gorgeous outlook. The staff were resonably polite but I did feel that I was on a carousel, one customer in one customer out.I would stay here again if the price was fair but if not I would try another hotel.

The location was great, the staff friendly and breakfast was outstanding.

There are a lot of stairs and steep inclines at this resort so be aware of that, but the staff was very helpful getting our luggage to our room and back to the boat when our stay was over. Room was very clean and the views are outstanding!

The room was beautiful, great service and friendly staff. Close to walking street, but private and quiet.

Très belle villa. Pensez à rajouter des transats à la piscine. Le restaurant n’est pas très agréable malgré le choix culinaire. La plage est très belle mais trop bruyante à cause de la musique du restaurant. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse du personnel et bravo pour la navette qui nous monte et qui nous descend en ville. Pensez à la mettre en circulation dans la journée toutes les heures par exemple

From worst to best… Swimming pool chemicals caused severe skin pain and reactions to 4 people! Very bad. Avoid the pool; swim in the sea. Pillows are very uncomfortable. We bought new pillows in town. A few holes in mosquito nets on windows. Fixed with Band-Aids. Toilets have no hand wash basin. Shower has no separation from the hand basin, so after a shower the entire floor is wet and it’s annoying for dry person to step into the bathroom, e.g. to wash hands. Toilet paper is terrible quality, very hard to use. Ended up having to wash… It’s on a hillside and requires a lot of walking uphill. It’s good exercise, but tiring. A basic level of fitness is required. Mobility-impaired people should avoid. Neutral. Small clothes-drying rack provided. Very nice! Racks are small, but most resorts do not offer any drying facilities, so this was better than most places. Breakfast is pretty good. They have not heard of nut allergies or gluten intolerance, but if you don’t have dietary restrictions, the breakfast is good. Bed linen is clean and smells dry/crisp. Rooms are clean. Because this resort is on a hill and slightly off the beach, it is quieter and not bothered by music from nightlife on the beach. Expensive hotels right on the beach would be affected by loud music. Location!!! North side beach is not busy with boats like the south side. Nice view of Adang Island. View from the restaurant is great. Amazing beach, snorkeling. WATCH OUT for sea urchins. Happy we came.

The location for this resort is amazing. Great snorkeling right off the beach. Variety at breakfast is outstanding.

Clean rooms, great staff. Everyone was super friendly. Easy to get a ride, or 15 min walk to the walking street. Great resort on a very cool little island.

Our garden suite had a gorgeous view of the water. Very clean and comfortable. The north point beach is the best on the island by far. We highly recommend the Mountain Resort.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this place. However we have few observations, variety of breakfast selection but we noticed that it doesn't have a taste. Also, would recommend property management to put privacy on the bathroom windows.
