This is an incredible hotel that I will highly recommend. The rooms are magical that will transport you to a different time in history. The hotel is centrically located in the old city limits just a step away from restaurants and temples. A couple of things you need to know, there is no elevator in this hotel so if you have mobility issues this could be a problem. Also the pool is not located in the property but around the corner, but honestly who in the right mind will go to the pool when you are in Chiang Mai and have tons of things to see and admire.

Great hotel with a great location. The interior of the hotel is amazing with so much wood detail and character. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Sand checked us in and gave us a map that the staff created with suggestions of restaurants and a massage. Tried the suggestions and they didn’t disappoint. The coffee shop next door was our go to place every morning. Location in the old city is perfect. Rooms are large and spacious with big bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable! Our bathroom was a bit dark and the AC was wasn’t as cold as we would’ve liked but no complaints from us. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The staff were delightful. The rooms were lovely but the bed and pillows were really hard. The bathroom was challenging ac the bath was huge and the sides high. It took forever to fill. If you used the shower there was no curtain so everywhere got soaked. There is no
Lift so carrying luggage to the top floor is also a challenge although the lovely girl at reception did carry one case up!
It is however in old Chang mai and very convenient for places to eat and see.
If us an old hotel and the unusual rooms are what attracted us to book.

If I could give 10 Stars to the front desk hostesses Sand and Prang (spelling?) I would. They were so very kind and helpful!! In all my travels, they rank at the very top!!!

We enjoyed our stay. My only comment is I picked this property because it says free airport shuttle and apparently that isn't always the case. I had to fight a bit for getting the shuttle which the staff said was only for people staying multiple days.

We had a lovely stay. It was a very beautiful building and the staff were very nice and helpful. I found the bathroom nice and clean but the bathtub was difficult to shower in and the bathroom door was a bit see through. The pool is also out of the way. Overall a really great stay!

Our concierge/hostess Sand was such a delight. She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and had such positive energy. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Very centrally located.
The property is spotless, comfortable, and an excellent coffee shop next door (Gravity).
I will definitely book this place on my next trip!

Very cool room and decor. Staff at front desk were very nice. A nice stay and close to everything.
Since I haven’t seen anyone mention this, just for others who enjoy a hotel pool, the pool is not at the hotel, it is around the corner and accessible to the public and a hostel.

The recpetionist were so kind and helpful. They really made us feel welcome and at home! I could not recommend a better place to stay! The hotel room was very clean and ornate. The AC worked well.

Really cool hotel with interesting decor and overall aesthetic. I can’t say enough nice things about the front desk staff - they were extremely kind and helpful and welcoming to my husband and I during our stay. They really made our time at Namton memorable :). My only complaint is that the air conditioner didn’t work in our first room, but the staff was able to quickly move us to another room where it was working.
