My room at the Paradise hotel was quite large, the king-sized bed with a hard mattress. The room included cabinets you can pack your things away in, a long counter that could be used as desk, a TV, kettle, and fridge. The bathroom was quite spacious. The place had good wifi, electrical outlets, AC, and hot water. Staff was quite helpful. The hotel is a a short block from the historic park and day/night market. The town overall is very small and charming. One of the best places to eat in town is across the street. The building is somewhat dated, but the room was quite clean. The place is fairly private, but then there is music playing next door until about midnight. A basic complimentary breakfast of porridge is available.

Location is excellent as it is just within a few minutes walking to the Phimai Historical Park. Room is spacious, clean, basic. Bed is big and ok. The bad thing is the sewer smell is so strong from the time we entered the room and still lasted the whole time even when we tried to turn on the A/C. This seems to be a common problem in Thailand as we have experienced this problem before during our travel. We booked and paid for a room online with the description saying accessible to the pool, but we got a room on the 4th floor away from the pool which locates on the ground floor . But we didn't use the pool at all. The good thing is there is an elevator. There is a good restaurant (and seems the only one opens late at night) across, but as all the reviews said, the music plays loud and late into the midnight. I forgot something in the room (my own mistake) and within the same day I texted the hotel asking about my item, the hotel replied me saying it would check and got back to me as soon as possible but there was no followup from the hotel as promised.
