Visit on March 31st (Awesome Stay)
Once i touch down to chiang mai airport, i went straight for a cab (which is most likely a Van) to the hotel. This hotel is has a unique location where it is a crossroad around the area and it is around 10 to 15 minutes from the airport. (Here's a tip, Do not pay more than 150 bhat, you'll most likely get yourself a comfy ride for 100 to 120 bhat for 3 to 4 pax from the airport.
The hotel itself looks very special, the cover of the hotel isn't that obvious where i would need to double check with the receptionist to double confirm. But if you think you are entering a coffee house, you are on the right track. The design of the hotel is somehow like a living cabin but a coffee house style. Here's something you would want to take note of, there is only stairs to go up to your comfy room, so if you are carrying a very big and heavy luggage, get a gentlemen to help you up to your room.
The interior of the room is very special, it is VERY spacious but slightly dark in colour. The design and decoration is very stylish and cool, one thing bad about my room is because of the slightly dark design, the toilet looks a little bit spooky. A little bit of add on, the bed, toilet, fridge, dusbin and very neat and clean. Alot of people are concern about the dustiness or bed bugs. So far no worries, my 3 nights stay there was absolutely wonderful. Lets talk about the advantages now, the staff is VERY VERY helpful, they gave us alot of tips and travel guides among the area. The breakfast is AWESOME! (Its a set breakfast prepared manually and it is not any buffet breakfast but they would give like a western breakfast). Well, thats on my arrival, the menu may change anytime but the quality is good.
A little bit more on the surroundings for the hotel. Getting a transport there to anywhere is easy, mostly we would use Grabcars (The Grab Experience there is good too). Or the red colour van size taxi that could fit up to 10 people (This is the budget type of transport, per ride it should be 20 bhat to 50 bhat per person depending how long is the distance). Here's a good tip, getting to a convenient store which is something like a 7-11 would need a little bit of walking. It is around 10 minutes walk from the hotel and you would need to cross out of Nim Man Road. For alcoholics, it may not be that convenient to find any bar because the nearest pub or drinking place would need at least 15 min walking. But it is still around the corner, just not that happening enough. That is why the sleeping environment is so good because there is no disturbance or noise within the valley at night.
I had a pleasant stay and for me is more to an chilling experience to be at Chiang Mai, definitely would visit again!
