Southern Lanta Resort

what we liked: the Staff is very helpful and friendly, we got greeted with a welcome drink. The beach is really amazing, it is clean, great for swimming, it is not overcrowded like many beaches, perfect for a walk along the beach. The hotel has several chairs, we always found one and you can put them so you are in the shade under a tree or in the open. the Bungalows are very nice and the whole area is beautiful set up so you can listen to birds. You are close to the little town - so you could walk if needed. We were eating a few times at the restaurant, it is not much more expensive and you have a wonderful view on the sea or can watch a sunset and the food is really good. What was not our favorite: we were not aware that there were so many families with children - it starts in the morning at breakfast and if you are near the two main pools, you will always hear children screaming or not being happy. We did avoid this pool area during our whole stay - as we wanted some peace and quiet. This main pool area as it looks nice, the water in the pools is not clean at all - I would not go in them. the breakfast buffet has many options, but it is not the highest quality. The wifi is a come and go, in our room it often didn't work, but it did work in the main area only a bit slow. Overall we liked our stay - as the beach is wonderful.

The room was very basic. Shampoo quality was a low standard and no conditioner at all. Staff was very friendly. The quality of the breakfast buffet was below similar prized hotels we stayed in in Thailand. No artificial sweeteners at all. First hotel ever that did not have any.

Such a beautiful beachfront resort.

We stayed 5 nights oceanfront king bed villa 114. Room was very spacious. Right beside bar restaurant that opened at 11am. Other restaurant was open for breakfast. Omlette station was good. Other fruits, coffee etc was decent. 2 pools on one side and one pool on other aide of villa. Staff and servers were extremely friendly and helpful. Live music Sunday and Thursday night's along with nice fire show. I will come again and will stay for a month! Gorgeous beach! Ocean good for swimming. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Was great!

It’s an amazing property. Not many people there so was very quiet.Overall great value for the money. Was hoping for an upgrade as there was plenty of empty rooms by the pool and the beach but that doesn’t seem to be a thing on our trip this time so far.

The hotel is perfectly placed for the beach, and the locality which is a wonderful. The only downside was the cold hot breakfast.

This seems to be a large resort with many villas/bungalows. The bungalow I was assigned was quite old, but it was clean, the AC worked and there was a hot shower so it was okay.

Nice place to stay with kids. No so nice without kids. Good restaurant by the beach, but a litlle pricey. Bungalows pretty worn down.

Hotel is situated right on the beach but then most of them are in Lanta! It is in a good location just outside the town but quite a long walk in to the hotel from the road. It is a very quiet resort set in pleasant gardens . The pool is a bit on the small side for the size of the hotel and insufficient sun loungers even when the hotel was not at all busy. Buffet breakfast was ok but a little jaded like the rest of the hotel. Standard bungalow again just ok, nothing special but clean and a/c worked well. We didnt eat any other meals at the hotel and didnt really see many people eating there either. We tended to go into Saladan or out to the other restaurants along the beach - and there are plenty. We did hire a motorbike from them for 250 baht a day which was useful for touring the island and getting into Saladan. They also supplied crash helmets for us.

Chambre super, impeccable et spacieuse, seul bemol la puissance du jet de la douche. Les bungalows sont dans un jardin luxuriant, le personnel est tres sympathique et toujours pret à rendre service (quelqu'un nous a récupéré sur un autre hôtel dans l'ile et redeposer au quai pour le retourkretour

Vi var en familie afsted med store drenge (12,17) og havde en helt fantastisk ferie på kog lanta. Vi lejede en villa lux med 2 soveværelser og var meget glade for opholdet. Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme. Værelserne var rene og hyggeligt indrettet. Vi var så tilfredse med at være der så vi bookede 2 ekstra nætter.
