Good service, good breakfast, good value for money hotel with parking in the alley. A little hard to find But Google Maps does not help the problem.

Thannatee boutique hotel
Excellent staff, very good service. The breakfast was very good. We had dinner and is was excellent! My only complaint is that the room was VERY small, could barely walk around the bed, and nowhere to sit except on the bed. If you're just looking for a place to sleep then this will be fine.

Lovely stay
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I spent there 9 nights and will stay there again if I am back in Chiang Mai. Located just outside of the old city wall, near south gate. It is peaceful, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and always happy. The rooms are in the traditional style and are very comfortable. There is everything that you can possibly need, including decent internet and small, but peaceful pool. I would certainly recommend this place.

Cozy and clean
We stayed here for one night after spending a week volunteering at Elephant Nature Park. This hotel was cozy, quiet, and clean. The staff was pleasant, and although their English was not perfect, we didn’t expect it to be - they are Thai and we are in their country. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I thought the pancakes were excellent. They also had a nice variety of fruit and pastries. The only real downside to this hotel is that there is no elevator. Otherwise, great all-around place. We would definitely return.

Quirky little place
Three of us arrived on the early train from Bankok. About 15 minutes in a 'red bus' It is down a side street near enough to get to most places or get a tuk tuk easily. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel certainly has the 'Wow' factor. If you want 'premier inn' then dont go here. If you like something a bit different and quirky then it probably is. The indoor pond, waterfall and fish are lovely. This is a small hotel. The rooms are all individual and fun to spend time in. The rooms dont have balconies. The pool is small but perfectly formed if you need a dip to cool down, probably not for sitting around all day. There is a small bar area and restaurant offering a limited menu. The breakfast was ample.

2nd time around
This qurky little place is a "trip to a timber hut in a tropical rain forest"... or "a tranquil retreat from the chaos of Chiang Mai"... Dont expect square corners and brightly lite white sterile rooms.. this place is as far from that as they get.. BUT.. What you get is a feast for the sensors, beautiful warm timber everywhere, a fish pond and garden to calm any soul and art work etched into just about every surface.. Stay here if you like something different and unique. I have read some of the other reviews... "Small".. "Bugs:" "staff dont speak good english"... Guess what genius, IT THAILAND... Tripical climate = Bugs and THEY SPEAK THAI... I dont get how people can trash a place for silly reasons, but each to their own I guess. I didnt have any issue speaking to them in english and they were always friendly.. They even looked after our bags for 24hours while we went to Chiang Rai... Yes the rooms are small but if thats the only down side.. its still worth the stay.. Besides.. Do you go on holidays to stay in your room all day?
