This place is amazing! Right in the heart of things but it feels like a little oasis from the craziness of walking street. There’s so much greenery wrapping around the cafe, it feels like a jungle. The food and drinks are fantastic and the staff are really attentive and kind. Welcome mango smoothie when we arrived was a lovely surprise and just what we needed. They let us leave our bags by reception since we arrived on the island too early to check in. The breakky menu is very Aussie friendly with eggs and bacon etc. Theres even a little library and lounge area which is open to the island breeze and surrounded by glorious bright green creeping plants, a great place to take 5 and get your bearings. The rooms are cleverly laid out with complimentary water and huge comfy beds with air con and a nice clean bathroom. THANK YOU TO THE REEF HOTEL STAFF ❤️

The breakfast is delicious. It is a menu type breakfast rather than buffet so it tastes fresh and there is a wide selection of food. The hotel is based next to walking street and walking distance to both pattaya beach and sunrise beach. Bed is huge and very comfortable. Great service from staff

Stayed for 5 nights. Breakfast was awesome. Staff were super helpful. Stayed in a garden room. Very clean. Great location. 5 min from Sunrise beach. 5 min from walking street. Would recommend.

We loved our stay here, perfect location for exploring the island and everything in walking distance. Quiet at night, had air con, safe, fridge. Bed maybe too hard for many people and pillow very firm. TV in rooms didn’t work (Why bother having a tv then? News channel would be good) but you could watch a dvd. We made a mistake whilst booking and they kindly accommodated us and we really appreciated this customer service. It’s a cute little place. Breakfast is the best we’ve ever had at a hotel which is served in the gorgeous cafe/restaurant next door, Mojo’s. every dish is beautifully presented and tastes amazing! We also had lunch here. Great find!

Not a fan and wouldn’t stay again. Quite good location though. Staff were nice. We paid extra for a family to have some space as they couldn’t accommodate twin beds on the level we required, which was fair. The front office had a cute cat, but he had obviously left his calling card somewhere. Bathroom smelt of sewage and could of done with the drains cleaning. The room wasn’t serviced well which didn’t help, especially as the bathroom wasn’t in a position to be left. Air con worked well and breakfast although limited, was delicious. They did lend towels and mats to take to the beach which was nice. I would shop around if I was visiting Koh Lipe again.

We're definitly happy with the hotel service, everything was good. we stayed for 6 days, complimentary with free breakfast. but there are certain things that we need to comment: 1. it would be nice if the breakfast have halal choice since it is next to the muslim mosque. 2. flies hanging around at the breakfast area alot. should put insects repellent/pest device or anything similar. 3. we took the basic aircond/fan room, it was nice. but the there's no channels available to watch. lucky the provide dvds for us. but overall is good! we would definitely stay there again! bed was super comfy! location wise is near to walking street. they send us using the motobike to the pier. and FREE wifi & breakfast. thank you for the service!

We loved Koh Lipe and The Reef was a perfect place for our family. Nice that we off the Walking Street too, made for a quiet stay. Great service and breakfast as well. Booked a tour through the hotel and glad we took their recommendation to not do the seafood buffet. Would gladly stay here again.

We really loved this place. The room we had was quite small, it fits a king bed and a spacious bathroom. But it had fast wifi, a large tv, great AC, a fridge and two bottles of water a day. They also allowed a lste check-out. We wanted to extend our stay, but they were nice enough to tell us that they would be doing renovations for the next 2 days. We booked a more expensive place on the beach elsewhere which doesnt have half of their services or the cleanliness. We wanna go back to The Reef. The front desk lady was very nice and drove us to our next hotel. I highly recommend for couples, solo traveler or 2 friends traveling together. 2 min walk from the night attractions/walking street.

The room is very clean, even the floor on the balcony. The cost of the beverages in the refrigerator is very reasonable. Very nearby to the walking street and convenience stores. Walkable distance. Breakfast is also good, bread is delicious and various egg dishes is even better. Simple but everything is just right. No counter service after 19:00, a little inconvenient but still acceptable.
