Quick stop for a rest
We booked this hotel for a quick rest stop between getting off the ferry from Phi Phi at 1pm and heading to the airport at 7pm. We were traveling with two kids, so needed a place to keep our bags and freshen up for the six hour wait. I chose the Tint based on the good reviews, the cheap price and the close proximity to the old town - and it didn't disappoint! It was a great idea and well worth spending a little bit of cash to do it, in spite of not actually getting to stay the night. The rooms are cute and clean, and the location is perfect. The only negative I could see is that there is no elevator, so we had to get our bags and pram up and down three floors. But, it wasn't that big a deal. The staff were very helpful in organising our transfer the airport too. Highly recommend!

If OK is what you’re looking for...
I would’ve written sooner but the WiFi at the hotel was down for our entire 3 day stay. I was irritated when my family of 5 arrived and, even though we had booked and paid for 5, they required payment for linens for our 5th person. Breakfast, at 200bht per person was ok. But is a cup of coffee too much to ask for? Sorry, but we’ve got 3 kiddos and while in Thailand I don’t EXPECT even mediocre coffee, I need it. Nescafé just doesn’t get me through. No ice. Room service minimal. Overall, location was good. We enjoyed our stay. The price was reasonable. The kids enjoyed the funky style. Rooms were sizable. Hot showers. Clean bathrooms. Comfortable beds (but only 2 pillows on each king size bed). It was exactly OK!

Cute boutique hotel
The design is really cute and original but the hotel itself is very basic. It’s great for one night as a layover. The beds are really hard with a really soft pillow or a really big and dense pillow. The shower drain smelled of sewers after you shower and that was very unpleasant.

The hotel very nice but their tours, a rip off
I'm sorry to give such a bad review. The hotel is really nice and it's close to the old town of Phuket. I enjoyed my stay there. I wanted to go to Khao Sok National Park and I asked in reception for a bus to go there. They told me that I would get a hotel pickup and then a VIP bus. It cost 800 baht. I agreed on it and thought it was reasonable. The VIP bus I later on discovered it was a normal local bus. On my return bus from Khao Sok I took the local bus back and then a bus from the terminal to the hotel. It cost me in total 195 baht. I can't believe the hotel would sell a 195 baht bus for 800 baht. Well it's not the hotel, it's an external company. But doesn't the hotel do its research on the tours it provides? I obviously complained when I got back to Phuket and after a lot of insistence (15-20 minutes) reception agreed to compensate 50% of the price. So I ended up paying "only" double the price (400 baht vs 195 baht real price). So I do recommend staying in the hotel but do not book any tours with them. They do not know what they are offering their clients. The company they gave me is called P. Transport. I've tried to review it on their tripadvisor but they don't have one

Great place
This hotel was really nice! I love the theme and all the colors of it. It's also in a really good location, it's right next to a wee mall with a McDonald's, a cafe and a whole Asian food court. There's also a really good massage place at the mall. It's walking distance to old town and also to the bus station where you can catch a bus to Patong (or all the other beaches) for really cheap. Our bus to Patong was only 30 baht. The breakfast at the hotel was good too, there's an American option or a Thai option, there's also toast and they bring you a plate of fruit. We just stayed here for one night, I don't think there's enough to do in Phuket town for longer than one night, but I would definitely recommend this hotel, it's cheap, really nice and the staff were lovely as well.
