An amazing hotel in a quiet area facing the Abant lake. An Amazing view of the lake from my room and various choices for breakfast and dinner. Definitely i will come back to this hotel. Highly recommended!

PROS - Prime location just next to Lake Abant, friendly and professional staff, delicious buffet style unlimited food for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed live music concert with Mustafa after the dinner. His voice was amazing and he played our favorite songs with his guitar. Car parking was very easy. Lake access was accessible. We enjoyed spending some time in sauna and have a massage after a long day. Didem the massager was friendly and adjusted her pressure according to our needs. I’d definitely go Buyuk Abant Hotel again next time when we go to Lake Abant.
CONS - there was not enough towels for 2 people in our room. Only one big shower towel and one hand towel was placed in the bathroom. They provided more towels upon request but I’d expect to have enough towels and also a bathrobe ready upon arrival in a 5 star hotel. They didn’t read my room requests that I wrote during the booking.

Very nice. Amazing place and hotel had everything we needed for our weekend getaway from İstanbul. Plus food breakfast and dinner was great!

Only one issue, when booking directly from the hotel, it’s 50% cheaper the hotels.com & I found this in 2 hotels, for this reason I won’t use your service anymore, this so shameful and disgusting.

The hotel location is excellent , the staff is so friendly, but it is so old , the furniture was very old also , the bed has only one lamp table, the room was small , there wasn’t A/C and they didn’t provide even a fan .

The location is great. The rooms are a big disappointment. Furniture is quite old. There are no even facial tissues in the room or in the bathroom. There are small paper cups for drinking water and also for tea and coffee. The curtains are not covering the windows and light is coming from the sides and in the middle. I wonder who rated this as 5 stars hotel!!. I would rate it as 2 or maximum lower 3 stars.

Everything was really good except if you wanna to take a walk around the hotel smell of the horse manure is not pleasant. Instead of horse buggy They should replace them with electrical vehicles

We spend a night with my husband.I wonder when this hotel was rated 5*!? The room doesn’t give the clean feeling! Towels had a funny smell, the phone in the room is most probably from 90s as well as the flush! There was no “partial” lake view! During check-in not info was given unless asked!There was no covid precaution taken other than the 2 paper cups in the room! I asked for a hand disinfectant to the room they said they need to check “if” they have one!
The only thing I liked about this hotel was the restaurant staff, they were welcoming and friendly.
I don’t think we’ll be back again!

The good about the hotel is its location and the food they serve at breakfast and dinner. We booked 2 rooms, we were 3 adults and 2 children, they gave us small rooms with parking view which is not something to complain about but the worse thing that the rooms were the closest ones to the lounge bar where there was a band playing loudly till 1 am!! And the music was very annoying and we couldn't be able to sleep especially the kids till the party came to its end. The hotel is very old, you see that from the bathroom where the rotten is covering different parts of the bathroom's wall. The price is high but the most important thing which is really negatively affecting the hotel all in all is the receptionists because they have zero experience about how to make a guest feels comfortable and enjoy his stay
