I’m a solo American backpacking traveler. For the Turkish price, thus was a great “bang for your buck.” Excellent breakfast. Extremely comfortable spacious room w/very big comfty bed. Good air con, great bathroom & shower facilities. Hotel had a pool. Central location. Staff very cordial, kind & accommodating (& speak English).

Despite a rough start not getting my paid room on my first day, the staff managed to change that after the first night. The location was great and even has a grocery store across the street. Close to lots of shopping and food places. I could even find food at 2 am within 2-3 blocks. The staff was impressive. I was especially taken by Omer who provided me with great details when I asked for help at the first desk. His answers were honest and informative. Staff like that are a great attraction and I would stay there just for him.

The hotel service was poor — there wasn’t even any tissue in the room. The breakfast staff were very disorganized and inexperienced, and the tables were not cleaned during breakfast. Overall, the hotel felt more like a 4-star rather than a 5-star.

A Hotel staff without knocking opened my hotel door at 10:30 am while I was naked in the bathroom and didn’t even apologize but kept asking me when I’m checking out. Instead of closing the door immediately and apologizing the man asked if I was checking out today or staying another night. What type of training do these people get???? Definitely the worst I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I complained to the front desk when I did check out an hour later with my tour group and I got free coffee out of it. Yay. Sooo stupid!

Quality construction, facilities, furnishings. Electronic door locks problematic. Changed the first room because it lacked sufficient closet room, this request was honored promptly and enthusiastically. The facility is located on the main street with occasionally congested vehicle traffic. Dining and breakfast well above expectations.

The hotel itself was amazing. It’s located minutes from shops and restaurants. It was very clean. However, I didn’t like the staff as they are not that welcoming. There were no welcoming information or any maps of the city provided. If you asked any question about local attractions they get upset. Also, no one even spoke English. The staff needs to be trained in customer service.

Reception personnel seems to be always overloaded and they pay little or not attention to guests. They do not know how to treat guests they are mostly rude and unpolite, they do not give information they give instructions and orders. I tried to buy something in their gift shop nobody was there available for 2 days. For checking in, after a long waiting without paying attention to me they told me to come back later because there were no clean rooms available, when I returned they had a room but it was not the type of room I had booked so they wanted me to go away again and return later. 2 days in a row I asked for pillows and never got them. They reserved a driver for me to make a tour but next day the driver was not there and nobody knew who they called or what to do. I wanted to make changes to my reservation and they told me to do it through my travel agency so I called the agency when the agency tried to contact them they said nobody was there to make any decision until next day, when I check out, next day, still nobody was there to make decisions.......
