Lovely place. One must give some leniency as the hotel is almost 200 years old. Staff amazing . The complimentary cocktails and nice breakfast a bonus! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Greeted and staff walked us to our room which was quite nice. Lovely and comfortable king size bed in the Macon Room.
Met several nice folks on the porch then Uber-ed to dinner.
Breakfast was really good cheesy grits and crisp bacon while my mate enjoyed the sausage casserole with fruit. Loved the Royal Cup coffee they served. We only stayed one night but it was a nice stay.

We were captivated at check in when we were greeted by Miss JoAnne Dillard at the front desk. A delightful treasure that added to the beauty of the front parlor! We had a comfortable, pleasant, relaxing stay as the staff was very accommodating, and made us feel quite at home.

Our weekend in Macon was delightful thanks to the 1842 Inn. Very clean and quiet. We were in the cottage behind the main house and loved it! From check in to check out everything was great. The staff is outstanding and made us feel so relaxed and special. Don’t miss the Mint Juleps at cocktail time!

I do not recommend this property. Insist on staying in the main house. The cottage is where I stayed and it was substandard in all respects.
I also paid 18 dollars for a glass of cheap wine. This is not the Inn experience I am used to.

Absolutely beautiful special hotel. Besides being an amazing piece of history it is also a very beautiful property in a beautiful area. Perfectly clean, stylish large room, we got spoiled by Sarah as we sat on the glorious porch in rocking chairs and had refreshments. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were so warm and friendly. Well done. It was the absolute highlight of our trip to the USA.

Everyone at the Inn was so wonderful. They made my stay there feel like I was visiting with family. I went up for my brother who was in the hospital and they all rallied behind me to keep my spirits up.
From the beautiful grounds to the amazing architecture and furnishings you just get this incredible sense of relaxation and comfort.
We will be back!!!!! Thank you Katie, Felicia and Rachel.
