Couldn’t be happier! I was a little hesitant when I first booked this room. I had heard that Miami could be scammy and I received a call saying that the room I booked wasn’t the room I was getting. There was actually a mixup with the listing with what was listed and what I had gotten. The problem was corrected and I was given a discount. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they communicated with me throughout the entire process. When we arrived, they were even able to get us in early. Our room was super cute and a great size. Pool area was amazing and there was even a dining and a work area. It was perfect for us because we needed to do some online work while we were there. A few minor things that could be corrected are 1) the thermostats, we could not figure out how to turn the air on and off or the ceiling fans or the lights. Very confusing 2) the elevator was an old-school type that had a sliding metal gate you must close before the elevator door closes. My colleague pinched her finger and it also would not go down. I had to walk to the first floor and push the down button for it to go. I would suggest an upgrade to the elevator. 3) no microwaves. If microwaves can’t be in the rooms, one should at least be in the dining area 4) no chairs out front at the tables. Overall, conveniently located across from a coffee shop, near the beach, restaurants, and a parking garage. I will always stay here from now on. We loved it!

the lack of workers really is the only bad part about this stay! you can never reach a worker in a good distance , always having to call a number. the rooms & decor were really beautiful , hot water was amazing , the only thing about the rooms is that the lights in the room are really dim , almost dark. & it can get really stuffy or congestive in the rooms during the night not mattering if the air , heat or anything is on or off. It’s a very stuffy room but overall loved the hotel

My booking turned out to be quite complicated. I originally reserved four suites for 12 people, but upon arrival, none were available. I understand this was due to a booking error on their part, caused by a change in administration or booking platform. To resolve the situation, we were accommodated in six queen-sized rooms. While this was an acceptable solution given the circumstances, it was not what we had booked, and we lost access to the kitchens we had expected. As a result, we had to eat out multiple times due to the limited in-room amenities. Additionally, on the same day as the agreed-upon charge for the four suites, I was unexpectedly billed for three additional rooms. Although this amount was later reimbursed, the currency conversion resulted in a shortfall of a few hundred dollars on my credit card. While I understand that exchange rates fluctuate, I did not believe my group should bear this loss especially given the additional expenses we incurred by having to dine out instead of cooking in our rooms. The hotel refused to cover the discrepancy. The hotel responds well to the chat, however this whole situation has left us quite disappointed. We will not be booking again.

When we arrived there was a mixup with our room as we had booked a room for 4 and the one we were given only had a queen bed. We contacted them online as there isn’t a front desk and had this amended to two queen beds within the hour although we would have preferred to have our original booking honoured

There is no one on property but they are quick on responding to text messages. With any requests such as more towels or coffee, be sure to get your request in early before the maids leave for the day. Being on Collins Ave means it’s pretty noisy starting at dawn with trucks, and cars beeping. Windows are single paned so the noisy but adorable wild parrots woke us up too. The mattresses are worn out—big dips in them. We rotated our mattress and that helped. But the sheets, scratchy and uncomfortable. Not a “Westin” bed for sure. The towels however were super nice and fluffy. And towels outside by the tiny, but cute pool. Pool needed to be cleaned. There was mold in the bathroom and shower. This is Miami so somewhat to be expected but nothing one blast with cleaner with bleach to take care of it. No trash can anywhere but the bathroom, need one in the living room by the coffee station. It was not indicated that the advertised bar and kitchen would be closed (being renovated?) during our stay but they also don’t have ice machines. We had ground coffee in the room but no coffee pot. There was a keurig. No microwaves in the room. The rooms/suites are sparse all white and beige. Put bright art on the walls, art objects, throw pillows, small rugs etc could transform the place from blah to nice. I’d also have a handyman go round occasionally with a can of paint to touch up all the scuffs on the walls throughout. It was fine but I like much more from my vacation spots.

We did not get to stay at Aloha Fridays as they sent us elsewhere because of supposed issue with our reserved room. This is the second consecutive reservation booked with you in Florida where we do not get to stay in our selected hotel. Incredibly disappointing. It may be time to look elsewhere.
