Coratel Inn and Suites By Jasper Ocean Shores

The staff can hardly speak English. Access to get into hotel was not good. Breakfast was limited. They’d start to run out and cook bare minimum for everyone. It’s a really old hotel. View to ocean from my room was really far from the beach.

The jacuzzi left our skin smelling weird and it was less cleaner then the pool but everything else was excellent their breakfast was delicious and would come back for another stay.

Right next to the ocean, stores and restaurants close by.

When we got there the room had an odor. I realized we were in a pet room when I got my receipt. The staff was great & came in with Febreze to try & help the problem.

Everything was nice except the hot tub wasn’t working and the floor in our room seemed a little dirty. I had to wipe my feet off before I got into bed. The rest of the room was clean and appeared to be newly renovated.

The TV service was not working. Bathroom sink draining slow

I would book here again. In a very convenient area, everything is pretty much walkable, near the beach and everything. Staff was sweet and kind. The only downside was that the jacuzzi was cold, but it must be a water issue going on because multiple inns were having the same issue. Besides that little hiccup, everything was great. Will be back soon.

Staff was not very friendly

Sink had rust spot . Towels had no fluff to them, they were old.

This was a great stop for us on our drive up the coast from Oregon to Olympic National Park. Hotel was clean and quiet. Many dining options nearby.

The entry into the hotel was promising but the rooms are dirty & outdated. Couch was covered in gross stains and the maintenance guy tried to gaslight me that it was not broken, even though the cushions were in a V due to the bent frame. The room was not well cleaned- good under the bed, filthy walls, bathroom wasn’t well cleaned, walls had splatters on them, and much of the room is in desperate need of repair- walls, furniture, fixtures etc. Breakfast food was cold and improperly covered with broken lids, if at all. We ended up throwing it away and having to go buy breakfast. The pool is run down. Paint peeling, also unkept. Fixtures were dusty and dirty as were air filters. The hot tub didn’t work. Screens were all bent and broken. There were two ladies that were sweet but everyone else was rude and dismissive. The property has potential if it were taken care of, and it seems like a family run business, so I wish I could be more supportive, but honestly after this 2 days stay, I would never go back again.

We were pleased by the friendly staff when we checked in. Our grandchildren loved the pool and hot tub. The daily breakfast was hot and filling. We were glad to have that lovely breakfast before hitting the pool. The property is not new, but appeared to be maintained. Our room was pleasant, the jacuzzi was another plus for us and the grandkids. We would stay here again.

Serviceable for a night, not for a vacation.

We arrived and got our keys to our room. They gave us a room right at the beginning of the hallway, right next to an entry door. At first it was convenient for bringing our stuff inside, but as we got closer to the night, it became very noisy. You could hear everyone entering and leaving. All the cars pulling up, and conversations from the hallway and lobby. It woke my 3 year old up on several occasions. When we first walked into the room, it was tiny and cramped, and dark. Once we turned lights on and opened blinds, all I could see what dirty spots all over the walls, the floors not properly cleaned, and it just felt overall dirty. We tried to settle in, turned the tv on, and none of the WiFi for the tv worked. I brought this concern up to the front desk multiple times, and they kept telling me “we’ll check it”. After multiple times of asking, they finally came to my room to figure out the issue. They never fixed the issue, only got the tv to goto cable and we just dealt with the issue. The pool was nice and warm, but the second day of our trip the hot tub stopped working. They also have several rusty areas and trip hazards. Overall, I definitely would not stay here ever again.

super clean fast and friendly service

Great stay, the owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were able to extend our stay one night. The pool was nice to use in the evenings and the breakfast was a bonus. Close to the main beach access. Highly recommend and will stay again if in Ocean Shores.

Pretty run down

Employees were nice. But the hotel definitely needs some updating. Beds weren't horrible but the bedding was wore and old. I think they are under new ownership so they might be slowly making improvements.

Great view of the ocean

We're used to staying in standalone vacation rentals, so motels are generally noisier and this one is no exception, especially when you have a family of several young children in two rooms on either side and they yell a lot from early morning to late night. And with an inner-courtyard room—with a putt-putt golf course in the courtyard—zero privacy if you want to open the curtains. We also had a problem checking in, as the young lady at the desk assumed that the name Danny meant a woman had made the reservation, and I was required to call my wife to have her confirm who I was before being checked in. Breakfast was, as usual at these hotels, mostly carbohydrates, which isn't suitable for a diabetic. At least the room was relatively clean—though my wife refused to use a washcloth that didn't look clean to her, and the TV worked (not always the case with long-term vacation rentals).
