Fun! Liked really ama hotel design, very artsy. Pillows and mattresses are also very soft. Very comfortable! Feels like home.
Continue deket ama parking garage cheap for overnight parking, deket shake shack, deket CVS pharmacy, dunkin donuts, also deket ama Hawaiian resto new name Coconut Fish Café, really good and affordable, and deket Macy as well. Besides also deket ama Grand Central Market, 15 minutes street there rich food market so, yum!

The hotel itself was a wonderful boutique hotel with a great aesthetic and lovely staff.
My only issues were with the area around the hotel, it isn’t close to many things and there are a lot of homeless people downtown so walking to any of the nearby restaurants or shops it was hard to feel safe.

It's a good bang for your buck considering the alternatives.
Private rooms are spacious amd comfi. Not very well lit.
GYM is very minimalistic and has no windows.
Neighborhood is not that good but the hotel's located in an ok area

When we checked in, the guy working said there was free music in the lobby. At 11pm, we came back from our event and wanted a drink. One guy said we couldn’t go in and another said it was ok for us to go to the bar. We went to the bar, ordered our drinks and sat down in a back corner. The last song finished and the first guy came over and said we shouldn’t have gone in there and then said the lobby was closing. So… Freehand needs to get that miscommunication fixed. Also, if we’re staying there, why can’t we go to the bar?

Solo traveler here, was in town for the Long Beach Grand Prix.
Building is in a somewhat rundown area, but security inside the building was secure. Rooms were fine, nothing special, but done with enough care to get the job done.
Metro station is around a 10 minute walk, but certainly within range if you don’t have problems walking.
Didn’t have many problems during my stay, certainly worth a try if you’re on a tight budget and don’t mind sleeping with random people.

No where while I was booking a room did it say it would be a shared room. Only until I arrived did I see the multiple bunk beds as well as sets of lockers. I would like a refund.

The location was very convenient for my visit. Surprisingly, the room was very big, and the shower with hot water was very nice. However, there is nothing in the room except 2 plastic cups. No coffee maker, no tea, or bottled water. There was a hair dryer, which I needed. I wish there was a blanket because the cover was thin. For your information, the hotel will charge you a "facility fee" because Hotel.com does not collect it. I believe it is used to maintain the pool on top of the roof. I tried to get there at least 3 times, but it was closed every single time I visited. And it said it will be closed at sunset. In other words, if you are out in the city, most probably, you are not able to use the facility you paid for. I paid more than $90 for 3-night stays. This was very disappointing because I brought my swimsuit. Other than that, I liked the room and I will stay there again.

Cool hotel. Nice spacious rooms. The rooftop bar and pool area is cool. Very easy to meet and socialise with other guests. Close to many bars and restaurants.
Drinks at the bar and valley parking is expensive however

I do not like that you can’t eat outside food in the lobby. Security makes you go downstairs into a grey secluded basement that feels like a dungeon. Also, too many mosquitos when you walk outside of the building’s side door. Other than that, the rooms were not noisy and people were friendly.

Don’t stay here. Flies all outside the hotel. Hotel hallways are grungy like a hostel. Rude staff. Green bathrooms. Absolutely not 4 stars, felt more like 2.5.
