Hampton Inn Pigeon Forge

This property was under construction during the visit. You could only enter the indoor pool from out side. Elevator was always dirty from construction workers, need to be kept up Breakfast room had construction dust. My mistake was to stay at a facility that was under construction. Thinking that the remnants of construction dust would be under control. Workers equipment very close to the back door 😔

Was a very nice stay. Breakfast was delicious! Lack of space in lobby area due to renovation. Should really consider fans in the bathrooms for ventilation. Overall excellent! Location great!

My family & i got to the hotel very late. The front desk clerk was very nice & helpful. We didnt realize that the hotel was under renovations! The room was very clean & in order. But the public spaces were very obvious under renovation. Im glad that the construction didnt cause us any troubles. Breakfast was good with several options.

This was our first time in Pigeon Forge. This Hampton in is conveniently located with the ability to walk to most places . We always stay at Hampton inns but this one my only complaint would be the size of our room . We had only one chair to sit and it was rather small compared to all the others we have stayed in . Also we were on 5th floor and hot water was not to hot ! I like hot showers . It was not cold but me and my husband would say they need to update hot water ! Staff was friendly as usual and breakfast was delicious! It has nice pools 2 out , one is like a splash pool for kids and then inside they had one too so this is great with kids ! Still clean , safe and friendly!

Under renovation. Pools were not closed, we were told beforehand they would be closed. Internet did not work the entire time we were there. Traffic noise was terrible, even late into the night. Will look elsewhere the next time we visit.

Although they were revamping the property . We still had a very nice time. Our room was very good for my disabled husband and easy for me to care for him! I hope I can come back someday, it was very enjoyable!

Understand you are undergoing renovation, that’s a good thing. Thx for allowing us to stay with you folks. See ya next time.

After I booked and paid on hotels.com the hotel sent me a email saying the pool and gym were closed due to renovations. Loud hammering and power tools started promptly a 7:00 am making it impossible to sleep. Elevators were almost always unavailable due to being full of construction crew hauling away furniture/mattresses. The whole hotel was pretty much a construction/war zone. Compare the photos I uploaded to those on hotel.com. What a bait an switch !!! When my wife complained the staff were pretty dismissive and a little condescending . They say they will be finished on the renovation June of 2025. Stay clear until then.

While I understood that "some" renovation was happening, the only area that was highlighted was the exercise facility. They actually had most of the 3rd floor renovation happening, which was right above us. Every morning beginning at 7am sawing, drilling and banging began. 7am is absolutely too early to wake up paying guests. The most infuriating element was, when trying to check out and make a deadline destination, we could not access even one of the two elevators because the hotel was allowing construction workers to use both to move items back and forth. My family's items were stuck on the 2nd floor on a rolling cart for several minutes waiting for an elevator to be released by construction workers. The commonsense compromise would have been to allow "Paying customers" access to at least one of the elevators instead of allowing those who were being paid to be there to dominate both elevators. When I complained to the front desk attendant, instead of trying to find a solution to serve the "paying" customer she made excuses for the inaccessible elevators. In addition to these things, the shower was poorly designed, allowing water to escape every time the shower was used. This caused the bathroom door to be rotted at the bottom. The bathroom was not equipped with an exhaust fan allowing the moisture to be eliminated while the bathroom door is shut during a shower. Also, the commode was very loose and rocked every time it was sat on. The room phone was not operable.

Hotel is under renovation in some parts. We were not notified of this until after reservation was made. Mold in bathrooms. Rooms are small. Carpet dirty.

Remodeling was too much, dark, & didn’t feel safe for my daughter & I.

The hotel was undergoing renovations at the time of our stay, so the fitness center was closed. Construction began at 7:30am The pillows on the bed were tiny 18”squares, not regular pillows at all. The breakfast buffet was not great, just sugary cereals and pastries, no regular bread for toast, and no bacon or sausage as one might expect.

Enjoyed our stay. However probably would not have booked had they told us that the property was being renovated.

Beautiful location. Ease to get to attractions

So it was good for the most part. Except I didn't know until I checked in that they were having renovations. So the breakfast are was a little smaller, and from the renovations there was left over dirt. But I came for a weekend away from the kids and to sleep in. I was woken up 2 mornings in a row at 715 from banging. That was the worst part for me. I wanted a nice peaceful get away and to sleep in. Other than that it's in a great spot!

Renovations were taking place and our room was by an exit door and people were go in and out slamming doors at all hours of the night.

The only thing that bothered me was the pet fee for two nights. My dog is 7 pounds & I was charged $75. I really thought this fee was excessive. I have stayed here several times & never had to be pay this amount. Most of the hotels on the area charge $10-20 per night
