The hotel was very stylish, comfortable, and clean. Would highly recommend if you are in the area! We weren't able to take advantage of the pool or spa but both looked very nice and we would have if we had the time!

This Hillside boutique Hotel is my favorite place to stay when I go to San Antonio to visit my daughter. The rooms are beautiful and the property is amazing.. it would be a great place to relax, unfortunately I didn’t get to spend as much time there as I would have liked, but I would definitely recommend this hotel.!

I had always wanted to stay here and was so excited to. Our check in was fast, in fact too fast and we weren't greeted with the most friendly staff. Upon getting to our room it was warm in there so I turned down the AC. After awhile it wasn't cooling down and we noticed that the sliding farm door for the bathroom was covering up the intake for the AC so there was very little cool air blowing. Just not a great design. Our balcony was covered in debry, leaves and real dirty, so we couldn't go out there without wearing shoes and cleaning the chairs. But the worst part was our bed! It was the loudest bed we've ever slept in. Every move woke us both up all night. No sleep at all. Next morning we wanted breakfast, but the restaurant doesnt serve breakfast. I wish we had a positive review, we really wanted to love this place, but we wont be coming back.

The description of the view isn’t what we saw unless we walked to the main building. Our building was closest to the highway. The bed in our room (536) snapped and cracked loudly just sitting on it as well as when I turned over. The vinyl chairs were peeling and I originally thought it was supposed to have that rustic look.

Lovely hotel up on a hill with nice views from the room balcony. Big shower, COLD refrigerator, king bed, great happy hour in the Barrel Bar, good food also. Very enjoyable stay. The staff was super friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would absolutely return! The pool was a highlight—perfect for swimming laps and spacious enough for our kids to play and have fun. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, with more than enough space for our family of four to spread out and relax.
While the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, the staff was incredibly helpful in suggesting nearby spots that worked well for our family. The on-site restaurant serves dinner from 4 to 10 PM (if I recall correctly) and, though more of a pub-style setting, the food was delicious and satisfying after a day of travel and activity.
We also appreciated the option for a late checkout at a small additional fee, which gave our kids one last swim before we headed home. It was the perfect way to end our trip—pool time, a quick shower, and a smooth departure. Next time, we’re planning to try out the spa services too!

We stayed Hillside over Easter Weekend. It was a cool and quiet weekend. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool but did still enjoy our time there. The staff were pleasant and the restaurant/bar was great!
