Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean 22 Myrtle Beach

I really thought this was going to be an apex place for the high price I paid but sadly it wasn’t. Upon entering the Valets are friendly and do a great job however my first impression of the hotel before check in was garbage on the elevator and just dirty all around. The room was ok but the glass on the balcony hadn’t been windexed for some time. The pool water was dirty and murky that day and my kids wouldn’t go in it so we went to the beach instead. The bartender by the pool was short and rude when I asked her questions, that’s another problem 50% of the staff seems to lack people skills and is somewhat unprofessional. The housekeeping is really subpar we had 8 people in a 3 bedroom suite and I had to complain in order for the floor to be swept even once over 4 days. We had a problem with a large palmetto bug(roach) in our bathroom however the manager Sasha did a great job taking care of the issue. There are some good people working there and if i didn’t pay $1200 a night I would be ok with some issues and staff but I did expect much better all around in this price range. Some positives, the beds are very comfortable I slept great, valets always had my car ready in 10 minutes, there’s a Starbucks in the lobby.

Ocean 22 is a great place and location to stay that is beachfront. The hotel property is very modern, clean, and the accommodations are fabulous.

The staff was great and the room was very nice I didn’t like the mattress which was very hard. The ac seemed not to be working in the hallway & elevators half of the time. Valet & check out was a bit hectic but it was a holiday weekend.

Most definitely booking again for the family

The stay was good. I felt that I should have been able to pay for the valet parking up front instead of getting with my card which charged a fee for each day. I also felt that we should be able to pay cash when using the store inside your hotel instead of paying a fee for using our debit card. The other issue I had was the type of pillows you use. You sunk into the pillow. There was no support for your neck. Overall, our stay was good.

Close to a lot of good and fun thing to do. Alot off good places to eat.

It was in a convenient location for us, the only two issues I had were the pool was tiny for such a large building so there never were any chairs around the pool available. We were also given a handicap room and when I asked for a different room they said that was all that was available and could not do anything about it because I booked through a third-party.

We loved everything about this hotel. We have only been to Myrtle Beach a couple of times and this will be the hotel we continue to stay at every year. Excellent!

We were there all week for a competition and it was perfect. We did not want to stay at convention center and this was a perfect alternative. Having kitchen saved us money and had everything we needed. Also felt like a hotel with the amenities. Staff was great and helpful.

This hotel offered such great accommodations! This is our first time doing Grand Vacation Club by Hilton and it took on its name. The 1BR suite/condo was so modern, well-kempt, stocked, and offered fantastic views, for my 4 member family. I really wanted oceanfront but they were booked and I see why!! They also gave welcome gifts with FREE entry to 3 places of entertainment! YES, FREE! I don’t know if they always do this but I’m so happy we came! So worth the money! The only two things we didn’t like is the Marketplace closed at 10 and the pool needed to be shocked daily—water wasn’t so clear. But we would stay again, most definitely.
