Holiday Inn Express & Suites GRAHAM by IHG, an IHG Hotel

We stayed 6 days. When I booked this trip (thru Expedia) it stated there was a full-service spa - no such thing :( I was highly disappointed, as this was one of the selling points I used to determine our stay. Upon check-in the front desk lady was pretty blah & non-sociable. I wouldn’t say unfriendly but certainly not personable either. Our room was clean so that was nice but one of the lights next to the bed did not work & we called down to have it replaced, the following day in the afternoon we had to ask them again for the light. The Pool Area had no shading what-so-ever and although the pool was nice and refreshing, the "Hot Tub" was filthy. The cleaning staff was nice and gave us towels & wash rags when we asked because we had our dog with us so they couldn’t go in the room and there was another front desk lady there at least one night that was quite personable. Our last night there we had to be up at 4:30 a.m. in the morning to head home & at 12 a.m. kids were still running around above us making all kinds of noise. I don’t like to complain but we had to get some sleep so I called down & was told they would go knock on their door. At 2:30 a.m. they were still running around. Upon check-out I barely got a sorry, just a “what can we do” attitude for my lack of sleep, and I had to be on the road for the next 10 hours on basically no sleep at all!

The hotel had only reserved one room when we clearly reserved two. It took the clerk over 20 minutes to fix the problem.

Customer Service was awesome

TV channel selection was very basic and was my only complaint with the hotel.

Easy check-in, room clean*, a/c worked fine, easy parking, quiet, in good condition. *All clean except for dust and dirt on window sill and on top of bed frame.

Good breakfast, very helpful staff at the front desk. Could tell you everything you needed to know about the town, restaurants and anything else you wanted to know. Very quiet with a good location.

Hotel is not clean. Mold on the bathroom ceiling, floors did not appear cleaned.

Wonderful staff as we had a problem with our reservation. Wendy fixed everything! Great breakfast and super comfy beds! Very clean!

Place was clean and friendly staff. However, we could hear just about everything in room next door. Tv, footsteps back and forth from the kids, bathroom door and fan and their voices. Just really thin walls, I guess.

You get what you pay for.
