Holiday Inn MINNEAPOLIS NW-ELK RIVER, an IHG Hotel

Kids loved arcade and waterpark.

Our suite was definitely not as advertised or what we paid for; two dorm fridges stacked on top of each other, toilet broke, lost hot water, beds pretty hard, and the internet had to be restarted each night around 10pm. However, staff were friendly and responsive. They fixed what broke and moved a bigger fridge in. They comped breakfast as we prepaid and they could not take money off. The waterpark is always fun.

Watermark was busy but great. We couldn’t even bring in an empty cup to get water that was my biggest complaint as a mom of three and we go thru LOTS of water.

Really nice hotel, great service, kind to both my daughter and my dog. The water park was fun!

Room was filthy. Game room out of order. Lights in room didn’t work. There were people above us making constant noise. I called the front desk 6 times and we were up all night because nothing was done about it. Not worth the money

The employees were always very friendly and polite. Our room did not look like any of the photos advertised. Needs painting.They did not clean our room for three days. They are very over priced for what you get.

Kids loved the pool! I wish they had more time, but I had received an email saying the pool was not open so we didn’t hurry to the hotel. When we did arrive they only had 30 minutes left and the pool was in fact open. I suggest calling the hotel directly to check as the email may be incorrect. Beds were a little hard, but the rooms were very spacious.

Staff was great. Beds were comfortable. Waterpark was a blast. I would definitely go again.

It's decent. I've been here before and on the weekend so I was surprised that I had to pay for the buffet. If I had known that I would have gone somewhere better. The food was NOT worth the price. The beds were okay there is DEFINITELY room for improvement on how comfortable the beds are but hey the pillows try to make up for it. You get access to the water park but a huge disappointment that they close early on Sundays...4pm. there's no other pool area either for this hotel so if you wanted to go for a late dip or hot tub you're SOL at this hotel because they don't have a separate pool area. The ice machine was missing on the 4th floor were were staying on, so had to go to a different floor. Another inconvenience was the fact that the handicap button wasn't working. You can push but literally nothing happens and will not stay open for you if you're handicap or have a big haul you're trying to push through. They could also have better shampoo l, conditioner, soap options.

Loved the high ceilings in our room. The kids LOVED the remote control blinds remote. Very clean overall. The water park was great. Hot tub wasn't that hot but loved how spacious it was.

The place was ok

Awesome guest service. We needed to move rooms and they accommodated us- their maintenance guy helped my son with the TV and was so kind and professional. Even bringing us an extra blanket when he saw we needed one. Top notch!!

had some miscommunications with staff about how long we could stay and about when the water park was open, which was why we wanted to stay.

It was a good stay at the hotel and the kids loved the water park. Also they are service dog friendly.

Great place for families

Overall we enjoyed our quick one night stay! Hotel room sermed mostly clean and well stocked. We didn't have any issue with noise from surrounding rooms even though we had a connecting room (the other room may have been empty though). We could hear kids running up and down the hall quite a bit but thats to be expected in a place like this. Waterpark was fun, but crowded. Definitely not enough chairs/tables for people, especially with families taking up multiple tables per group. Our only real complaint/concern is one that i'm not sure how the hotel themselves could fix - behavior of children at the waterpark. The amount of unsupervised, and wild kids there was frustrating. We expect lots of kids, and loud and crazy behavior etc, but kids literally taking a tube out of my 6 year olds hands? Shoving him out of the way in line for a slide, literally running in the lazy river and flipping my sons tube over among other frustrating behavior, made us not spend as much time in the waterpark as we had anticipated. We did go back in the morning at opening, and it was definitely better. Overall though we did enjoy the stay, and would consider visiting again when in the area!

Had a lot of issues with the room TV didn't work as had issues water ice cold for shower, water lick in hallway got different room that room bathroom toilet didn't work rm dirty.

Elevator issues all weekend. Rooms dirty. Our room stated 'sleeps 7' but had to purchase 4 additional wristbands for water park at $25 each.
