There was trash in the bathroom and the soap had brown scum on it as it was used!
Fridge handles were filthy. This begs the question whether any of the rest of the room was cleaned from bedding to dishes.

This site was centrally located so that we could walk or use the subway to travel around NYC. The rooms were clean. The hot breakfast items changed every day and there was a lot of variety. My only complaint is about the sofa bed for our 5th person. It was awful. The regular beds were just fine!

Close to many touristy locations and Madison Square Garden. 34th street subway station is less than 5 mins walk. Hotel and rooms are clean.

I have no mobility restrictions therefore was able to walk to a lot of the attractions but a bit far for those with restrictions. Staff were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Hotel and rooms ere very clean as well as breakfast area. Will recommend to friends.

Hotel was fine and decent for our stay given we were out of the room most of the time. Area around the hotel is not the greatest and we were a bit fearful sometimes walking back - we felt most unsafe outside the hotel in NYC. Staff was helpful, breakfast was simple but okay.

People are doing drugs on the street as soon as you make a right turn out the front door of the hotel. There are needles "hidden" behind the bricks and people holding crack pipes on the street right outside the door. Additionally, we were not provided the room we reserved and because the hotel would not respond to Expedia, we could not get any sort of refund. I will NEVER stay at this hotel or another of the Hilton hotels again.
