Our room was lovely but the best part of our experience was the check in staff. One was being trained by the other and the trainer was so patient and kind and the trainee did a wonderful job, asking questions when unsure. They both were super friendly and helpful.

I love the location, staff, and being on campus. Great parking. The only feedback is the pillows have an odd smell, almost like dirty hair which I have experienced two stays in a row. I spray perfume on them so I can use them. I smelled it upon entrance to the room so it's quite pungent.

I would give Ursa a 5 star rating except for one thing. No good coffee maker in the room. I'm here on business and they don't serve breakfast or coffee until 7 AM -- I have to leave at 7:15 for work. Most hotels offer some kind of free breakfast these days. I don't mind that they do not....but the room needs a good quality coffee machine not the tiny plastic one cup style with bad coffee packets and powdered cream. I think most travelers agree that a good cup of coffee is essential to start the day.
Also consider that the front desk and food/bar is in a separate building. In the winter it's dark and below freezing (or a rainy day) and you have to go outside and walk to the building.
Upgrade the in room coffee and you have a fantastic spot.

Convenient spot if visiting UMaine. Rooms are nice yet small. On the down side, there is very limited parking. Felt lucky to find 1 spot. We were put in a room that was in a different building from the check-in. Since there are only 7 parking spots at the building we were sent to, it required a lengthy walk in frigid temperatures and windy conditions. Not ideal.
