Plaza Suites Downtown New Orleans

This property is SO outdated, DIRTY, and smelled TERRIBLE! There were roaches in the room and no one at the desk to even call to tell or anything. I left on the second day and booked elsewhere because I couldn’t stand the disgusting feeling and SMELL another night. Literally the only pro is being walking distance to my conference at the convention center. The self check in wasn’t terrible but I literally didn’t see A SINGLE STAFF MEMBER until I left. She just took my keys and told me have a good day, there was no formal checkout or asking me how the stay was. 1/10 (ONLY because of the walking distance location)

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Evenings were noisy with lots of folks on the sidewalk late.

Me and my family enjoyed the layout of the property, inside and out and the location

Was perfect. Walking distance to everything. Staff was extra friendly and gave ootions to eat and party. We were there for MardiGras. She told us all the good soits to get. Will stay again.

The manager Renee was outstanding, hospitable, and very knowledgeable about the area.

No hot water in the shower. No amenities. No staff most except during business hours.

3 blocks away from convention center. Nice two level suite. Nice 2nd floor area to meet and watch TV Hot tub

It was incredible! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , full kitchen and living room for the same price as a small hotel room! Quiet and conveniently located. I would highly recommend it and definitely stay there again.

Very nice older hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good location - walking distance to multiple sites.

The location is walkable/accessible to a lot of what New Orleans offers. That also means there will be revelers sometimes at night at the nearby restaurants/bars. The front of the hotel requires a passcode to get in, so make sure you know the time you have to check in by so someone can let you in. They told me they're there until 5pm but sometimes leave at 3. They'll give you the passcode at checkin, and you can also use your key card to use the back entrance. The building itself is worn and outdated. The elevator wreaked of used mop water. The room is also worn/outdated, but is comfortable enough and provides everything you need. They do not provide housekeeping during your stay. They did provide a bottle of water for each day of my stay. (I had the loft with a full kitchen.) The AC was on point! While it's not the prettiest place to stay, it was comfortable enough and worth the value based on the cost of surrounding hotels.

I had a room/apartment on the first floor, bigger than my apartment at home. However, at home, I am on the 17th floor. In this 'hotel,' I was on the first floor adjoining the sidewalk of South Peters. I was able to easily listen in on conversations going on between folks on the sidewalk. The place had a full kitchen, a huge bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a door to the bedroom that, when shut, kept me out of the conversations on the sidewalk. A safe Warehouse District location near the Riverwalk Outlet Mall.

Nice that they let us check in early.

Excellent location. I loved the makeup of the rooms. You have everything you need. I will be staying there again.
