The hotel is not super clean, and they are in the middle of certain renovations, which was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. The room's windows were able to be cracked, but we were a few floors above the hotel's garbage bins. The parking costs are obscene.
The one good thing was the featherbed option. Made the bed comfortable.

Stayed here many times but now the Hotel is under construction, no bar, restaurant limited hours, they all suggest uber eats over their room service ( room service club sandwich is 46 bucks) , female front desk staff member absolutely dislikes white older males and goes out of her way to be unhelpful. Shocked, I then asked my wife to go back to the desk and ask for the same service ( changing 20's for 5-10 dollar bills for tips for staff) and she was treated like gold from this same staff member. I was shocked! I have traveled for 40 yrs globally , stayed at no less than 6 Sofitels and never saw should obvious hateful behavior .I was just at the Sofitel in Spain it was magnificent , the LA place is going to the dogs. Sad and dissappointed. Also the driveway was closed and you have to get the Uber in the street which was a bit dangerous.

Great location. Staff were wonderful. Parking is valet only and $75 a day, there is no self-parking available. Room was nice and there is a water station by the elevator to fill up the reusable metal bottles provided at check-in.
The only real complaint was that there are some significant renovations going on in the lobby and parts of the ground floor that were very noisy. It made check in challenging

I really appreciate the care and service this hotel gave me and my guest. Very professional service and hospitality in all ways! Thank you to the staff and valet men who care for my car and room. I had an amazing time and it’s so close to the shopping mall! I will be going back!

Location is great. Rooms are surprisingly quiet, though on a busy street. Bed/bedding and bathrooms were lovely, clean and well kept. Room was not kept as well. Elevators and halls were also not kept as well - smelled of mildew. Parking is horribly expensive and valet is the only option. Timing-wise, construction was going on in the lobby so it was a bit hectic and dusty.
For the price, I unfortunately have higher expectations.

We stayed in a penthouse which was absolutely beautiful! Upon arrival we were given reusable bottles to fill at the water stations which was a nice touch. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Would stay here again!
