It was an amazing experience but the only thing I wish the rooms had is a mini fridge

Was not a fan of the huge extra cost to park there. There was no air flow in the room. You had to open the door to cool it down. Breakfest was nothing special.

Room was not ready at

Close to public transportation which is great. The room could have been nicer though. Had a bit of an odd smell. Staff was very friendly but the room needed a bit of work (loose ceiling fan, broken doorframe in the bathroom, shower door that did not completely close).

We waited over an hour to check in because rooms weren't ready. There were at least 5 other parties in the lobby with the same delay. We were told 15 minutes. We asked what was the cause for delay and they wouldn't say. We found out later that there was a staff shortage for housekeeping (which is valid and totally understandable). But again, they should have told us. There was no lobby bathroom while we waited. The facility in general is run down, the rooms are tiled but the courtyard has carpet... why? The rooms had no mini fridge. The coffee maker and supplies were stored near the floor so we didn't use it. We had to wear shoes inside because the floor were dirty. The showers needed to be cleaned better. The security and valet gentlemen were so kind and helpful, 5 stars. Nathan and Sam at the front desk were professional and kind, 5 stars. The operations manager that checked us out could have been friendlier. The area has MANY people living with addiction and homelessness and they occupy most of the area. There are many places to eat, shop, sightsee, and partake in recreational cannabis in the surrounding area. Lots of public transportation and beautiful architecture all within walking distance.

Noisy environment, managers need more training safety protocol needs to be followed

Nice hotel. Nice to have the free breakfast. The lift is very noisy though and goes ping at 2am all the time which they could turn off. Although no fault of the hotel, the area is full of tramps.

The staff who checked me were awesome; however, the credit card system was down, and it made it a little difficult

The hotel is very loud. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows so any sound can come in. There are often loud bangs, not sure if it’s from the street or from the hotel. Also the parking is so terrible. Valet for $69 a night but the service is pretty slow.

Great location and price

The stay was comfortable. The pool was nice and warm. They even made sure I could get hot water in my room to drink.

Staff and breakfast were good. Construction on the room directly above our room was super inconvenient. Plenty of rooms to renovate that weren’t directly adjacent.
