We arrived early for check-in but were told the room wasn’t ready—even at the 3pm check-in time. I called and was first told the room still wasn’t available, then placed on hold. Someone else came on and suddenly said it was ready. When we got there, the room was filthy. Crumbs on the pullout sofa, dirt on the bathroom floor, chipped paint, and nicks on the walls and doors. After returning later that evening from a funeral viewing (the reason for our visit), we discovered the TVs weren’t working—seemed like a connection issue. I informed staff, and their only solution was to switch us to another room because maintenance wouldn’t be back for another week. We viewed the other room, but it was just as dirty and even smaller. Since we had already wiped down the first room ourselves, we stayed put. The manager (the fifth in seven months, she said) noted the issues. The TVs eventually worked later that night, I called to confirm. The next morning, we tried to use the stove and oven, but the circuit kept tripping. We had to shut off power to the other appliances just to cook before the funeral. The manager was kind and helpful and did request a full refund through Expedia, but we haven’t received it yet. Overall, very poor experience. We won’t be staying here again.

Mattresses were so bad. They had metal springs and painful to sleep on. Kitchen soap and paper towels, dish towel missing. Not enough toilet paper. Elevator was out of order. Fire alarm went off. Sofa so uncomfortable. Place has no hospitality service. Bath tub stained.

Stay was decent. Great customer service communication. The courtyard is my favorite place.

Lobby not open when checking in. Elevator was not working. Entire staircase area smelled like weed. Very loud at night with people screaming etc. Horrible overall experience & never again!

This property is brand new and our room was very clean. However, it will definitely not stay that way until the property manager makes some changes. 1. The elevator was broken and they put us on the 3rd floor. I feel like SOME form of compensation should have been provided. 2. The stairways were dirty. The carpet needed to be vacuumed and it smelled of marijuana the entire stay. I saw electrical outlets in the stairwell. You think they plug in some air fresheners. 3. People are living in this hotel and they are running the hallways screaming from midnight to 5am. The only saving grace was the beds being at the back of the room. 4. It’s pet friendly and I heard dogs barking at 2am, 3am etc. 5. The office closes at 8pm so if you need anything, you’re out of luck. I would not chose a StayAPT again knowing they are really just housing for low class people.

The room was clean and convenient. The only downside was the elevator being down the entire week we were there and the fire alarm going off out of nowhere.

This visit has been very disappointing. It’s been a huge turn over in a months time and the staff has gotten worse not better. It’s still fairly new, so I hope they can turn it back around.

This was a brand new facility that was working out the construction bugs. Staff was super!

Overall our stay here was fairly good, we were here for 10 nights. We have 2 dogs and felt like this place was decently dog friendly. Parking was easy and plentiful. Negatives were there was noisy construction right next to the building during the week. The WiFi also never seemed to work. We also requested our room be cleaned on a specific day as we would be out of town with our dogs and when we came back it hadn’t been cleaned. When checking with the front desk they had the wrong day down, but the day we requested cleaning was even written on our key card. Getting extra towels wasn’t an issue.

It looks like a new apartment building and you get a fairly new builder grade studio room. Stayed with family for a sport event and the kitchen was very useful for us to prep a quick meal. The dishwasher was not working but it was okay.

As a solo female traveler visiting for work, I didn’t find this property particularly safe or suitable for a business stay. I was there for 12 days and had to change my own sheets and take out my own trash. The walls are thin, you can clearly hear neighboring rooms so working remotely from your room may be challenging. It also seems to be housing many families, with children frequently running through the halls, which adds to the noise and activity level. It is quiet at night. The door didn’t go all the way to the bottom (there’s a slight gap). It didn’t feel safe. On a positive note the staff was amazing and very helpful. The front desk ladies were a 10/10.

Absoluetly perfect for overnight stay or extended. VERY clean and tons of space. We were only here for one night but could absolutely see us staying here for longer. There were even a set of dishes and cookware! Very close to restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely stay again!!

The stay was overall very good. The suite was clean, same with the building was overall very clean. No complaints other than the fire alarm going off around 5 AM, which startled us from our sleep, as we were preparing to leave the room, we heard another guest tell everyone this was the second time in a row that it had happened during her stay. & That it wasn't a fire. It seemed to be a faulty line causing the alarm to go off. Besides that, we definitely would stay here again when we visit Charlotte.

While the syaff was doing the best they could. The building itslef seemed rushed our room still had consteuction debri from sanding and cutting frames and walls to fit appliances and vanity. The pull out sofa had crumbs and dirt. The bathroom sink clogged. Dises wre not clean. Carpet was not vaccumed. Overall poorelt excited from upper management. Not to mention fire alarm went off bith nights we were there from people smoking in other units wich you could smell down the hall and in elevator ans not cigarettes!

Room in general was so dirty

It’s clean and the room is roomy

Solid place. A little weird not having overnight front desk. Room was as described. Would be idea if you’re staying in the area for three days or more.
