Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Room was large, comfortable and inviting! Innkeepers Scott and Jodie attended to our every need. As a suggestion, I would add grab bars to he shower abd bath area, and have a handicapped ramp up to the building

Once we pulled into the driveway, we felt the stress of the real world melt away. Jodie made us feel at home.from the second we checked in. We stayed in the 1807 house and was not disappointed, as a fan of the old time craftsmanship of.the early homes. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast each morning was perfect, not too much of a portion where you felt stuffed, and Scott cooked things perfectly. The 1807 house does not have TVs in the room but the wifi is strong and easily solved with a laptop for those who may need to be connected to the outside world. The inn is very close to Mystic and Stonington for those who need the extra dose of the early history of Connecticut. We couldnt have been more pleased with our choice of staying at the Stonecroft Inn and look.forward to retuning in the future. Thank you Jodie and Scott for.your hospitality.

The Inn was wonderful. The only thing was that the Hotels.com website state that there are two places to stay. We stayed at the 1807 house which was lovely but does not have a television in the room. (In the Common Area). The Main House has televisions and a Jacuzzi in the room. Wish I knew. However, the breakfast was FANTASTIC and the hosts were WONDERFUL!! Would DEFINITELY come back and stay in the Main House.

Perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean and staff friendly. I chose a room in the Yellow Barn for the fireplace and oversized jacuzzi tub. The feather bed was quite soft - perfect for me, but too cushy for my husband. Breakfast was varied and delicious!

Our stay at Stonecroft couldn't be better. The Inn and its property were so beautiful...like out of a picture. The furnishings were so amazing and the view of the grounds was awesome. The owners were friendly, warm and so accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and they catered to our need for gluten free. We would like to make this a yearly trip because it was so relaxing...

Everyone was so nice, well kept and prompt service. Only minus was house is old and in need of major upgrade. But for a house from the 1800s what do you expect.

We were in the 1807 house which is in amazing condition, and yet still has the charm of the uneven floors and stairs that testify to its authenticity. Facility was nice, but it was rainy so we will have to check it out again in a time when the weather is better and we can sit outside some. The only thing we found odd, not bad, but odd was no tv in the room or common area in that building. We normally fall asleep to the tv late at night so it took me a while. Thankfully it is very quiet and the bed and the sheets were awesome, like sleeping in a soft and smooth cloud. And the breakfast was also excellent, in a great little dining room. Hard to find a historic house to sleep over in and really feel the authenticity and get a great breakfast at this price close to popular attractions.

Not what I expected as we had stayed there years ago. The room was in the 1807 house, which I do not recommend staying in. Pretty bed but it felt like it was going to break any minute. No TV or coffee maker, etc. Amenities were bare minimum. If you’re going to stay then book direct and stay in the yellow barn lodge. Those rooms are so much nicer, as I remember.

It was an absolutely great long weekend away! My husband and I were able to disconnect because there was no tv in ththe place. We stayed at the 1807 house. We have a fireplace in our room and Laura the owner's sister took great care of us! The breakfast the 2 mornings we were there was DELICIOUS and the dining room had a fireplace also! The whole place is a very romantic setting and it was perfect for our getaway before our first baby arrives in March! -Jason & Joanna Gundrum
