This is a lovely older B n B in a beautiful area. We enjoyed our stay here; however by using the codes at front door and room , it felt rather cold not having contact with anyone the entire time we were here. On a positive not; the room was huge, the bath was nice, the quiet, peaceful view out back was nice and the grab and go breakfast was adequate.

Beautiful building, very well maintained. Our room was very clean, modern bathroom with spacious shower.. cold cereal and muffin breakfast convenient with milk , 1/2 and 1/2 and yogurt in small fridge at top of main staircase. Short drive to boutiques and restaurants. We loved driving through Skidmore and surrounding neighborhoods. Beautiful homes and landscaping!

It was very up to date for an old house except the very creaky floors. Electrical could also use some updating.
But it was a beautifully remodeled old house. Loved the decor. I would have given a 5 star but for those things.

Overpriced, no front desk and it took hours for our entry pin to be reset, rooms could use a paint job, room smelled musty, dirty windows, dead bugs everywhere, daytime wedding below our room….
Nothing special beyond the outside grounds and proximity to Skidmore (north woods) and walk to town.

Such a wonderful brief overnight stay. Very quaint yet modern. The room smelled so fresh and had great wooden floors
Bathroom was spotless and had bougie Beekman toiletries and fresh towels. Small to go breakfast provided which was convenient. Highly recommend.
