The Resort on Cocoa Beach

One of the main reasons we chose this resort was because it clearly stated that the rooms were “oceanfront.” However, upon checking in, we were extremely disappointed to find that our room had no view of the ocean at all. Instead, we were staring at an overgrown wall of greenery. When we addressed this at the front desk, the team member casually explained that depending on the floor, you might not actually see the ocean due to the landscaping—something that definitely should’ve been mentioned in the booking details. She also stated that she couldn’t move us to a higher floor because all of the “true” oceanfront rooms were already booked—most likely by timeshare owners. If that’s the case, the resort should not advertise rooms as oceanfront if they don’t guarantee a view. Since it was already late and we were tired, we stayed one night—but we immediately canceled the rest of our stay. The room we were placed in on the second floor was dated, not very clean, and honestly just felt neglected. We found leftover trash on the floor in the bedroom walk-in closet and even saw an insect crawling around the bathroom. It was an uncomfortable experience overall. We ended up booking at another property that was actually oceanfront as advertised. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this property. If you’re looking for a clean, updated room and a guaranteed oceanfront experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary celebration trip at the Resort on Cocoa Beach. Our room was ready early. It was clean and spacious, with a lovely ocean view. The pool was clean with plenty of space for adults and families. Both the pool and hot tub were open early and late. We really appreciated and enjoyed evening swims. Resort uses wristbands as room keys and entry to pool and beach walkway - very convenient. Parking was convenient and free. Location is excellent - close to many great restaurants and grocery stores ( we had a full kitchen ). Beach was beautiful. We saw a rocket launch from the beach. We will be back!

I like the staff, feels safe, what I didn't like was the parking it was horrible had to drive around many times to get a parking and then it was far away, should have assigned parking for the guess staying there.

We absolutely love this place. Bartenders at the pool are awesome. Kids loved the play area, movie theater, game room. We will be back

The timing was such that they were replacing window treatments. No warning but a small sign at the front desk and tv muntil the last minute. So there was drilling around my room for 4 days. They entered my room without permission to replace the drapes in that unit. I previously asked the front desk if they would be going into my unit and was told they wouldn’t do mine until I checked out. I was surprised to see them in my room after returning from the beach (my things were out and l hadn’t locked up my jewelry). The same morning, the handle broke on the spare bathroom commode. Then while they were still putting window treatments up, I learned my dryer didn’t work. Was told housekeeping would dry my wet things and have it to me in 10 minutes. After 30 minutes I called. When I expressed concern, the new management company barely offered an apology, and only something if I committed to sitting through their 90 minute sales pitch. Very insulting. I would suggest day passes for visitors of registered guests as there’ no access to non registered guests But … location is wonderful. Close to activities and attractions. View from my room was spectacular, room location was right on the ocean so I could see the sunrise from the private balcony. The bed was comfortable and beach was very close and easy access. Beach was also clean and great place to watch nearby SpaceX launches. Front desk staff was friendly. Despite the bumps I would stay again if there were no renovations happening.

Wonderful resort and area.

Fantastic location, great accommodations all units are 2 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, some units are ocean front but every unit does have an ocean view. Full kitchen facilities with large fridge and ice maker. Direct access to the beach via the boardwalk from the rear of the property and you are able to rent sun loungers and umbrellas if you so wish.

Amazing place, friendly staff and perfect location.

Positives. Great room/ rooms. Everything yourequire in the kitchen, spacious room clean except the floor. turns the bottom of your feet black wear socks or slippers. Huge balcony. The staff is excellent All very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant uuum not so great. Mediocre Mexican. Only choice negatives archaic garbage rules. You bring it out once a week to an area but after 530 pm they call themselves a resort. Not a resort. The food Mexican or nothing. No breakfast set up pool medium sized no roving servers and only cash or card. Limited lounge chairs fit their occupancy. I do love the free parking with a significant I amount of spaces undercover. Also strange the pool is in the parking lot. Which makes for obvious reasons only one way to enter and exit disallowing people to just saunter in In closing would I go back probably not. Too many other resorts with better amenities

Had a great time! First time we did a "grandparents with married child & grandchildren" trip and this was a perfect property for it.

Staff all exceeded expectations. Property was cleanest I have seen in a long time. Entry door needed a door sweep to keep wind from whistling through. Great 3 weeks!

Our room was perfect for the 5 of us. The room smelled very strongly of mold/mildew. That was our biggest complaint. Otherwise parking was good. The pool and hot tub were great and all the activities planned were super fun. The walk to the beach is quick close and safe feeling. The beach was clean and so nice to relax. Place on the hotel side to rent chairs umbrellas boogie boards and surf boards for minimal prices. You don't need to pack your beach towel they are there and free of charge. We came down for spring break and as a single mom with four girls coming in it was a wonderful spot. It was safe. We joked that it was kind of the geriatric form of spring break, but it was wonderful. We hope to return again.
