The room had good air conditioning and a great refrigerator for wine. We used the mineral pool, steam room and sauna.

This was our second stay at A Valley in the past year. It is clean and comfortable, and we really enjoy hanging out in the courtyard, enjoying a bottle of wine or our coffee and breakfast, or relaxing in the pool or hot tub is a short walk to the many dining options and spas in Calistoga. The great prices allow you to save your money for wine tasting, dining and spa experiences and we really appreciate that we will definitely be coming back.

My family enjoyed all of the amenities the hotel offers. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and always busy taking care of the property. Location was perfect as it is on the edge of town with pretty views of the countryside but just a short distance to shops and restaurants. We will return.

The pool is adjacent to a very busy road and so its loud: NOT relaxing. The room was also facing the highway and we heard traffic all night. No landscaping apart from the entrance. The courtyard was very univiting. The pool towels, when available, are toddler sized, thin and worn. Very disappointing stay.

The walk-in shower was an absolute death trap! Every surface in it was dangerously slick and slippery! There were no grab bars and my hand slipped right off the small ledge that was the place to try to get some stability inside the shower stall.

I was expecting better based on the price and info/pictures online. I was given a room right next to the pool on the 1st floor, not the best spot. The patio was very small and uncomfortable, not somewhere you would want to sit or hang out. I liked the pool and the sauna, those were the highlights. Room was a little dirty, but not disgusting. Bed was not comfortable for me, too lumpy.
