Fabulous Hotel would definitely stay again. Staff go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and wasn’t disappointed…

Fantastic place relaxing stay away from it all and really friendly and helpful staff

The cottage was too far from the main building as the weather was horrendous. No light inside to read - much too dark. Impossible if you had to do work. Food and drink was overpriced. No fridge in the room. The whole experience is way over- priced ! Might be better in the summer.

Beautiful location and accommodation. Food cooked by a chef who knows how to combine flavours and textures. Suite beautiful and room to move around. A few suggestions - place to hang towels as we don’t need them laundered daily, little pots of milk for coffee/tea, a powerful reading light.

The hotel is wonderful. The suite (Thyme) was very comfortable and stylishly furnished. The staff are all very attentive and both restaurants are excellent. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for and it makes for a special stay. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special. Excellent reception staff, amazing room, food and service; the whole experience has made our anniversary stay truly memorable. Thank you the Grove.

The Grove is in a beautiful setting and very comfortable. The staff were all delightful. When we had an issue at breakfast it was dealt with beautifully. The atmosphere was very relaxed. We ate in the Artisan Rooms and had an absolutely delicious meal. Our only problem was with the lighting in our room which was not bright enough for us, particularly for reading in bed. We will certainly be recommending it to our friends.

Excellent in every respect

This is a really lovely hotel, with friendly, but very professional staff. Country house feel, wooden floors, panelling, open fires; large rooms with comfy beds and linens. Didn't try the fine dining, but 'normal' restaurant was excellent, as was breakfast. Highly recommended and owners / staff deserve to do very well.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, no complaints at all

great place fantastic reception on arrival they could maybe have a marked parking place for arrival as the car park was a bit of a walk to reception in the rain. only real issue was no mobile signal on one of my mobiles.

Had a fantastic stay. Beautiful house, surroundings and food. Loved the little things like chess boards and back gammon dotted around. My daughter loved the fairy door at the bottom of the tree next to the swing. What made it great though was the lovely serving staff in the restaurant. Always smiling, polite and helpful.

We only stayed at the Grove for less than 12 hours as we planned to leave early in the morning to Skomer. The pictures at the time of our booking do not do justice to the beauty of this place. We were welcomed to a beautiful landscape to the horizon, greenery through out the premise was taken care of, and a wonderful staff. The staff looked after every detail and always made us feel at ease. The room was really clean with a gorgeous view. No noise issue whatsoever. We also ate at the restaurant. Dinner was delicious. Staff was again very welcoming. We had a really pleasant stay. What a great place to rest. If we didn't have plans, we would have definitely stayed longer. After leaving the Grove, we didn't feel that it was only a place to stay, but it also should be considered as a destination.

Such a lovely place to have a relaxing weekend

Amazing stunning room! Beautiful restaurant but a shame we arrived late to have dinner there. Wish there was a bit more entertainment available indoors as well as outdoors

Lovely hotel, great setting, excellent staff. Two things that could have been better - bed was shaky. Every time you turned over it woke the other person up. Didn’t have one good night’s sleep. Had dinner twice - portions very small. No vegetables.

Really peaceful and friendly. Delicious food in both restaurants. Lovely parkland to walk the dogs in. Comfortable beds, masses of hot water.
